There either needs to be a language standard OR built in emotes.

The game itself needs to handle this issue or a dominate language chosen. I don't care the language but I'm sure y'all know which one I'd prefer. ;)

Thats the ONLY way I see this being taken care of. The first, making it in game, only has trouble for those that work with the code. The second, forcing a language on others, might cause a HEAVY influx of 'issues'.

What if these were all available in a dropdown list ingame, so that one event would be displayed to each person viewing it in their language?

I suggested that but apparently Doug has lost all trust in ProgD.

I do too - I like it a lot. However, several points:

1) We need to suggest the emotes before either method could be implemented (wiki or drop-down), so the two efforts are complimentary, not exclusive.

2) The game is still glitching from the crash. Programming needs to concentrate on getting the game working properly before it goes about implementing new features. There is no point in holding off on emote suggestions until this is completed.

3) I haven't lost trust in the programming department. It's simply my assessment as a member of the GAB that it's not currently up to the task, and as I said, there are higher priorities. Further discussion of this is not for public consumption. Seko, if you want to take this up in private, please email/message me.

If this can be implemented in a drop down, I'm totally for it, but this is not a discussion thread, it's a thread to suggest emotes. Please keep it on-topic from here on out.

I split off the discussion from the suggestions part.
Pretty in pink.
