Wiki Error
On the new armour and weapons page, there is an error. It mentions that iron shields are the best shields in the game when steel scutums are. Not a biggy, but I'd like to see more of them in-game so...

So fix it.
The wiki can't stay up to date unless people work on it and I'm not sure how new it is, but steel scutum along with kite shield are the latest editions of protection to cantr so if you want to see more, do something about it.
P.S. After a quick check, I found where the shields are listed in order from lowest to highest protection and it is up-to-date:

Dude, it's a wiki. The only limitation is that you need to be registered. You can edit what ever you like, but if you write something bad then people can reset it from the history. The wiki is maintained by the players, not the departments. When you are logged in, you click on the edit link and fix the text. Formatting is just like in the real wikipedia.

Click the logi in link at top right, register with your 'desired username and password' and once you get the acknowledgement email, you can lo-gin and edit to your heart's content.CantrFreak wrote:I'm able to fix it. O.o Wow. I thought you had to have permission by some admin or whatever. So... how do I fix it?
And thats not the page I'm talking about...

It should also be noted that how much you block can be completely random and not being effect my anything at all, i.e., you block 10 wiht an iron shield and are in perfect health and skillful fighter, though this is rare, it is possible.
Where does this information come from? As far as I've noticed, blocking is very heavily bound to the fighting skill and the random variation if such exists is very small.

Thats something I wrote, so that information came a bit from other players experience, my own and information I could get out of people. Unfortunately, I interpreted it badly since I was doing lots of guess work. There are ranges for blocking (and attacking), the range depends on the character's abilities, such as an awkward fighter has a different range than an expert does; I don't know the ranges and how far they go, but at the most extreme points, it might be possible for a skillful to do as I said, but so rare, your character will probably never do it...but I doubt it that range goes with skillful, it might be more for an efficient or something.

It seems to be an option when picking out weapons.
Also, I started up against yesterday with updating that page, both this thread happened, damn people noticing such info before I could finish updating...but, thanks Seko for helping out on it, now I don't have to do much

Also, the wiki says that a raft can dock to a dinghy, but the dinghy page says nothing can dock to a dinghy. Which one is it?
When you hope for something, you often believe in something. When you believe in something, you often have pride in it. Being proud often leads to a hating of some group.

Alright, I just wish that we would sometimes have a little say in such matters, or at least be informed ahead of time. These changes can do a lot to the game.

Yeah, the dinghy change could have done with an announcement, given that it changes sailing, piracy and naval war quite a lot.
Although, most RD changes can be got here:
