Drop all directly

Postby Arlequin » Thu Jul 31, 2008 2:01 am

Another simple suggestion. Instead of prompting for an amount each time something is dropped from inventory, drop all directly. If the character didn't want to drop that much, then they can pick back some.

I'm quite sure that the instances on which you just want to drop all (i.e. after hunting, when storing) vastly surpass the ones on which you didn't. So that would cut off a sizable amount of page loads.

Don't mind thieves, after all they only make Cantr life more eventful. Isn't it lovely when a newspawn runs away with a bunch of stolen carrots?

I'd rather have a second page with multiple selection where you would have a select all button, and you could use it to drop and give stuff. That would offer more diverse options.

Can't we just have the maximum amount we can drop/pass/pick up automatically put into the amount box? I believe it already is in one or two of the cases, just don't remember which ;p

If it was pick up, that would make stealing way faster. But for dropping, it's already the max amount, the problem is that if you have several resources, you still have to click several buttons.

So... something like 'multiple nores operation', just for resources? Becouse for single, unstockable objects it's just about how fast you can click :D
