Blocked Rope Machine

One of my characters stupidly blocked a rope machine by creating a medium rope project and adding all the thin rope he has, when this is not enough thin rope to complete the project. Is it possible to have this project cancelled, so he doesn't have to find enough iron and wood for another rope machine to rectify his problem?

Wouldn't it be a good idea to have a sticky 'Blocked Machinery' thread? Just a thought.

There's a firepit in Romov (French land) which has been blocked by this project. No one has a pot here. Not life-changing, just slightly annoying.
