Apply Signs to ALL buildings

This suggestion is actually for when building amnesia is implemented.

The basic function of it is, the player clicks the button and the building names have the sign's name put in them instantly, all at once.
This way you won't frustrate the player by them having to rename each individual one, one by one, for hours on end for all their characters and for each place they go to.

The default sign on a building is the name entered at consturction. You don't have to rename it to add the first sign, because the first sign is automatically there.


Notice how the dynamic name changes, and then the blue sign appears when you change the name of a building now. If you cahnge the dynamic name to match the name of the blue sign, the blue sign "disappears". A little confusing, I guess, but that is how it works now. So in a sense...building amnesia is upon us now, I believe. You can stop panicking. ;)


If it works differently, I suppose Chris will tell us and not move this to rejected/implemented. :D

Re-naming the signs that are already there, making it visible to everyone else.

As Wichita says that's exactly how signs currently work

The 1st sign is the default name of a building or vehicle, any dynamic name your character has given to the place will be used instead of the 1st sign name. The dynamic naming page allows you to use any sign's text as the default as well as giving buildings your own name.
