naming chars you meet

I gave a character I have met (in game) a name, which apperently was too long. Now the change name button for the person I have met has dissapeared on the change name page. And there is a code behind the characters name, something with target value, I think.

I have travelled away from the character, so I can't check what exactly was written there anymore.

What is the limit of characters you use to name your character? So I won't do it again in future.

60 character is the maximum

If you pm me your account id and your characters name I can reset the
name back to something which doesn't break.

Actually the limit for all dynamic names is 100 characters. The 60 character limit is for original names of buildings and vehicles .

Thats stored characters - some 8 bit characters are stored as numeric code values so can take up more spaces.
