Fun fact!

The last time this happened was in August 2003. Over two months (I think) of game time were rewound as if they'd never happened. A lot of fallout from that. One result was that the game was backed up far more frequently.

Two months would be bad, but at least by then you would have forgotten most of the things you had done, so it wouldn't feel like you were doing exactly the same things over again.

I believe it was 3 months ... but in a lot of ways 3 days can be harder to cope with - its all more recent and it's suprising what can happen in 3 days even in sleepy towns

Weekends are more active for me, hence I lost a lot of activity, almost enough that I'm considering having my characters develop precognitive abilities and start predicting what trade goods people have brought.....

Yeah...I am kind of lost at what to do with a couple chars because of this lol. A couple are playing it off as a dream they had, some are travelling so it didnt really matter and one is thinking he saw the future.

Anyways, would it be considered a CRB to use the information that was gained to further your chars now? I am sure that people have lost some and if they made an action that would save their previously dead char, how would that be handled?

Its a tricky call IMHO - but try to play as if the last 3 days never happened - somethings will diverge others will follow the same paths ...

In IRC tonight there was one player who said they had a char who fell in love with a girl over the last two days ... and she spawned early on saturday ...

So far half the characters I've encountered are playing as if that three days didn't exist, and the other half are playing as if it did. I forsee amusing (or not so amusing) consequences.

What!? My best friend forever died and the usually not so emotional councilor has a mental episode! She still died but now everything is just awkward! And this is annoying for my characters that are travelling...
