Wow, I'm Back...

Postby Solutions Maximus » Mon Jul 31, 2006 9:41 am

There comes a point in every man's life where he must decide what is truly important to him. I thought a vacation to get my personal life sorted out, would be an intelligent decision.

I was wrong...

Cantr is that thing that is truly important to me. :D Well, all in good humor. But, I just mean to say that I'm back, glad to be back, and I missed all those with whom I used to converse, namely: Surly, Nick, The Sociologist, Sho, Sunni, etc., etc.

I missed you guys, well, most of the time. ;) You will all have to fill me in on what's changed since I've been gone. I feel bad about missing so much time. It was kind of a landmark time when I left. Lot's of implements. Skills. That was the hot-bed when I left.

What's new?

*hugs* Welcome Home!!!! Skills... are still....ehhh as I still have not seen but one thing improve...and that was hunting and only once... but, don't want to get back in to that.... :P To many of the older player are leaving, considering leaving... or are already gone....(I fit in there somewhere) Lots of changes, but... I just let them change and don't fight it... doesn't do any good... besides.. thats what Cantr is... forever changing..

Hey! Welcome back. :)
Awkward: Having your phone go off full volume during a funeral.

Even more awkward: Your ringtone being "I Will Survive"

The most awkward: Coming back after a 10+ year hiatus and swearing I'd never come back.

Seko: I've played a lot of Characters. My main characters (I can barely remember their names) were: Arnor Brunoli (I loved this one), Neo Raydants, and.... sheesh, I've forgotten pretty much all of their names. Oh well.

Surly: Of course I named you first. I always enjoy your posts. I can enjoy a good humor as much as the next guy.

Everyone else: Thank you for the welcoming. :D

Lol.

And if you're not joking around: It is actually the actor, not him. :P

Yes, I had the feeling that you were playing someone in Kiii, just couldn't remember which one. So your account timed out? That's such a shame, Arnor was very loyal although he had to leave to test his wings. My character is still hoping he would return one day, even though the chances are very low after all these years.

yeah, it timed out. I wish it hadn't. I had several characters that I really enjoyed rping. Arnor lived out his last days in Lake Village, poor, but content, and he always had the intent of returning to Kiii, he had a crush on Jaina, which I'm assuming is your character :D It was written in his diary. He only told a few characters about it. None of them in Kiii, however. It's unfortunate that he was never able to go back, that would have been a fun and interesting RP. Oh well. The best way to stop my mourning over my past characters is to start new ones. Even though the early years of characters are the defining years, often times, I still like it better when they are established.

Ah, an "I'm Back"-thread! No need for me to start another one to announce my return to Cantr...

Yup, I'm back... 8)

I used to play Cantr a year ago, but rather abruptly stopped playing the game in order to give my studies a boost. I am getting a bit bored lately though, so I decided to start playing one of the most fun and interesting games to be found on the internet!

I didn't have many well-known characters in those days. The most succesful char must have been the chap who was head of the carpentry guild in Kwor in the days of the war with TBR. I can't recall his name. I used to have a couple of rather well-known Dutch characters as well.

Anyway, I'm back with one English and one Dutch character. A lot has changed, I see, so there is a lot for me to discover....

I don't understand.. if you are short of time surely you can stock up on food and just make your characters do less or a long project... If the chitter bothers you maybe a long project inside or something - it seems to be what a lot of the old characters do anyway...

How many days can you leave it between Log ins to keep it from being deleted?
Like Phalynx but new and improved!
