getting so ticked about something that happens to your charries you have to literally ban your own self from forums for a week so you dont CRB....
I have a simple solution for that. Just go and rant about it to friends who don´t play Cantr. (Only downside, they will think you´re retarded. Or they start playing Cantr too. Or both.

Me and my traveling companion docked our boat onto a deserted island, no one was around. He unlocked the doors and stepped off. I followed him. Because there were two of us, a new character spawned. She waved and thanked us for the boat and sailed off, leaving us stranded.
I told my wife that story and it didn't really translate as to how much that sucked.

Hmm... so many things. So... to put one amusingly:
In a land, far, far away, there is a Rhino created by his Shapemaker. And this Rhino has an Oxpecker, made by his own Crafter, who eats his ticks and warns him of danger. Well, one day, this Rhino smacks the Oxpecker with his tail, quite hard, as though he were a nuisance rather than a help, because he just quite doesn't like the Oxpecker anymore, but still wants him to eat his ticks and warn him of danger. Well, does the Oxpecker like this? No. So the Oxpecker gets angry and bites the Rhino's bum and flies off. Of course the Rhino doesn't like this; why should the Rhino have to deal with ticks and danger on his own, even if he didn't feel grateful for the Oxpecker anymore? The Rhino cries out and whines and begins to hate the Oxpecker. Now, the Shapemaker and the Crafter have never had any quarrels with each other, they have only seen their creations work in a symbiotic relationship. But upon the Oxpecker leaving the Rhino, the Shapemaker becomes even more angry than the Rhino and blames the Crafter for all of the unrest. The Shapemaker begins to blame the Crafter and treat the Crafter as though it were actually the Oxpecker itself. The Shapemaker fills with hatred and plots against the Crafter. You know how the Crafter feels? The Crafter doesn't care! The Crafter realizes that the Shapemaker is not the same as its Rhino! The Crafter would rather continue crafting than quarrel with the pigheaded and stubborn Shapemaker that cannot see beyond its one creation. The Crafter decides it shall never be bothered by such a trifle, because if the Shapemaker can't dance, then it ain't no friend of the Crafter! Yow! So the Crafter crafts, loving all its creations as the Shapemaker boils under its ethereal skin, plotting and wasting its time on that which never mattered. Who ends up happy and carefree doing what is important in life? Definitely not the Shapemaker. It was much too bogged down by hatred over the nonessentials in life.
Moral of the story? Don't let your head get stuck in your ass or you might miss smelling the roses for smelling something worse. <.<
And no, I have not been drinking. Or any other kind of drugs. I'm just really tired.

Oh. Dear.

Rant: Oh how I love it when I just wrote something and I´m just about to save it, or (to keep it related to Cantr) wait for a character to light up and it does, and right then the computer crashes. And then I get something like:
error: no keyboard detected. Press F1 to continue.

as my first charrie on this account passes on i have to think to myself, is it worth continuing on.
My only 'important' cantrian im thinkin of putting a crossbow bolt through his eyes because i just dont want to and dont have the time to deal with the shit goin on. Hopefully they'll throw a coup and try and kill him, if so either ill die and be rid of the problems, or they'll all die and ill be rid of the problems. either way its a win for me. (i've stopped checking him because just thinking about dealing with him gives me a headache)
besides that, i have 1 PC who is only fun to play when there is conflict going on (and on a united and peaceful island there is scant little of that) so he is fairly boring. then i have sleeper who people like, sleeper with authority, priest who is planning on staying inside for another year, person sailing off in the distance with tons of food and a dead crewmate, and a sleeper whose spawned in a foreign zone, and has done very little over his 30 years of life (besides learn how to say good day to you in polish).
Basically, if i didnt write this out, i just might have just clicked the green X.

It annoys me when people put emotes in private talking that would be big enough to be noticed by anyone nearby. Either people are embarrassed or then just plain lazy. Generally it irks me when people have long whispering sessions so when people put visible emotes in public while in the middle of such a session, it sends the message that the player hasn't forgotten other people around even though his or her character happens to be talking to someone else.

Guilty as charged.
I tend to forget about others being able to see movements when i'm in the middle of a conversation.
