Short nails tend to be like that and it's really gross and annoying. Once they grow out a little more, they'll stop getting dirty so easily. I'm at a pretty happy medium right now between short enough to get gross and too long to function, which I favored when I was 16 or so. They're this length right now:

Wow, you have nice nails. I clip mine like every 2 or 3 days. I don't like when they get more than just a thin line of a white tip.

New marketing angle: the Cantr diet. Get your chars in certain situations and you'll feel too ill to eat. (side effects include loss of sleep, loss of jobs, loss of family/friends, etc)

I just stumbled across what is basically my dream class, p.chem. I love thermodynamics far more than any person should. And rate laws *fans self* Dude, they're my wet dream...

Unfortunately, it has another year of calculus as a prerequisite. As amazing as I was in the last semester I took it, I have no desire to sit through a whole fracking year of more calculus just for thermodynamics.

I'm sorry, physical chemistry, but we cannot be together.

In slightly more upbeat news, I have a schedule formed for next semester. Just realized it amounts to 18 hours O.o I haven't taken that many hours since, like, freshman year. Granted, this time around it's mostly psych classes which are always fun and easy as hell. I'm taking (hopefully) just one biology class and a chemistry which will be the most difficult of the lot.

I'm rather bummed, though. In building the schedule that I did, I fell back on a series of plans I've been setting up ever since I decided I was informally done with school. Unfortunately, it led to my default where I change my minor from chemistry, to psychology, instead of both. I'll be one class short of the chemistry minor but that also involves school for another whole semester, I really can't do it. I just can't. I need to be outta here.

Also, I came home to a lovely letter from Uni telling me that I'm S.O.L and I get no finaid for this upcoming year so yay?

For the love of all that you find holy now CN, Take the hard classes, You win more pissing competitions with "I am a chemical engineer who also majored in psychology" than with "I followed through my psychology and studied a bunch of chem and eng".

Sorry for being a grumpy old man, but like the song says (wear sunscreen) "enjoy the power and beauty of your youth" you wont appreciate it until it's gone, but you have a very special chance , right now, to peruse thermodynamics, whatever you graduate doing you might spend a long time doing, so it would be nice if it was something you loved and came easily to you.

This is also the first time that I've felt this way before, but I'm not really liking that i'm searching for a new job when I have one I like. Sadly, I work to get paid and if my work isn't going to do raises while we have inflation... then I need to move on. :/

We (my Assistant Manager and me) are starting to tape ourselves at work for our facebook page (the work's facebook page), but....yeah....I have decided that I was meant to watch people on camera not actually be on camera. I am like a ferret on crack. I talk with my hands, clap to enunciate amazing things, and sway back and forth as I talk. Ugh...not good. Take two after lunch....wish us luck.

Actually, it's not hard at all. I've been smoking off and on since I was ten, just on since I was 15. Now, it's just become...kind of irritating. I stopped enjoying them. And they made me cough, and we really didn't have the money, so I was like "WTF am I doing? It's simply more practical to quit." So I didn't buy any more, and I've only had like two or three out of habit in...two weeks? It just kinda happened.
The nail thing is muuuuuch harder.
@Comy: WTF? Why do longer nails not get as dirty as shorter ones? When I chewed my nails, there was no 'nail' for dirt to get under. Now I've got crazy black shit that I don't even know where it came from. I haven't even touched anything black! And they get in the way. Why do people even have nails? I'd rather have claws. Claws don't bend easy like nails.

Found this amusing and had to share....

Heading home from work a little while ago, I drove past what appeared to be a homeless man holding a sign. I thought it would be the normal "will work for food" or "homeless and hungry" signs I see. But as I rounded the corner and read the sign, It said "Bet you can't hit me with a quarter. God bless".

Thought:
I've had a pretty good day. Did a little drinking, random ranting and raving about a total stranger. Had lots of video games, some alcohol, and lots of chocolate xD I may be in a diabetic coma.
Looking forward to an actual day off this Sunday.
