Haven't read shit in the thread. It is a rant page and I really do not fucking care.

Now the rant:

All people (including myself) are assholes who do not care about anything, but themselves.

Now coming from that.
I hate these stupid idiots that bitch and moan about having wind mills built where they will block their view of the mountains. The wind mills are not built on their land, but yet they bitch. I bet you these assholes drive them big ass 4 wheel drive SUV's that get 8 miles to the gallon.

Why are people driving these huge ass SUV's on the LA freeway to get to work? I will answer that. They are fucking idiots.

Ban all SUV's and only allow people that really need the big "commercial trucks" to those you really need them to do their jobs.

You pull into a gas station. Your vehicle is weighed and by weight of vehicle you pay far your gas. You own big ass SUV you pay $12 a gallon.
Only a $9 tax. They can afford to buy them. They can afford to opperate them. Tax goes into building wind mills and solar panels to make electricity.
You own a VW Bettle (I hate them) you pay pump price.

I want no response from this. I just had to blow off some steam.
You want to flame me? Bugger off. Go elsewhere and leave me be.

And if you want to drag me over the coals...
I sold my car 7 years ago. I now only travel to the grocery store (5 miles)
with a friend every 4 weeks to buy what is needed and No I am not
a nature nut. I live in a semi city area. The vehicle gets about 50 miles to the gallon on biodiesel.

Want to know what I buy?
Chicken, beef and pork bone for stock. And some meat.
Full grain flour for bread, pasta, pierogi with location made cheese, and the such.
I grow vegetables and buy from local farmers if I am short for the season.
Ever work in a 90 to 115 degree kitchen canning vegetables?
And we are now moving toward 100% hand cut wood for heat and cooking. Some coal is used for heat.

Flame me please.

Sadly i won't be flaming, i agree with most of your post, particularly the first sentence of your rant and the suv bit.

The other point i'd like to raise regarding suv's is that they're popular for the school-run. Parents feel that because they're tall, they're safer. While that maybe true, it's not good for the car that the suv hits. Most of the time an suv hitting a normal car will end in a death in the normal car. But people being selfish don't actually think of things like this, "As long as i'm ok, sod everyone else" seems to be the general attitude.
A people carrier offers the same level of security and is not a death sentence to a normal car, but unfortunately suv's seem to go hand in hand with the p-diddy-puff generation whihc makes them more popular also, especially amongst kids. But that's another story.

Why would anyone flame you Delgrad?

It all sounds pretty interesting and self reliant if you ask me. Smart maybe, even.

On a side note, if you're ever going to piss with hot peppers, make sure you wear gloves.

 I had no idea that they'd burn my fingers, or rather I thought if they did it would wash off. Oh noooooo Missy. I sat here the other day with burning fingers for like 8 hours. Two were spent reading on the internet about solutions to take care of it, which finally narrowed down to the fact there were all kinds of remedies yet nothing for long term relief, but basically you just had to suffer it out and remember to wear gloves the next time.
I hate people.

If only people lived their life like you, the world would be such a great place. You are doing a great thing and I'm sure you'll inspire many around you to lead a similar life. It is much more simplier, isn't it, and cheaper, and healthy for yourself and the environment.

If one truly wishes to live in such a way, he will make it happen regardless of ease.

I hate it when there's a theif character that tries to do the right thing and return all the shit he stole. Then the people in town kill them anyway. Hell at least give somebody a chance to reform.

There's an in-game story about that sort of thing.

I strongly dislike people that go out and buy a BMW or a Porshe, cut you off as they skid into your lane, and then run out of gas in the middle of the intersection  Stop trying to look influential. You're not. And the next time you park your overly priced ride illegally in a handicap spot, I will kill you. Slowly and painfully. :x

2042-3.10: a man in his fourties says: "*...God only knows how this place is...

Does that tick anyone else off? I get irritated with that. There is no God in Cantr.

Um, why not one or more gods? Lack of evidence rarely stops anyone from believing in gods.
