RIP Redfish Jones 1055-3.
my first character to die...
he was killed by a moose. a fitting end.

edit: this sort of breaks the 4 day rule, but it has no immediate effect on anyone at all.

I met Redfish once. He was great! There will be some immediate effects, there's a few less dry eyes now.

I've noticed you guys are starting to live in the past. It's a sort of generational thing. "In my day, young lad, there were wars and pirates... *wheezes as she polishes the knob of her cane*".

Wait, are you implying something about Eve? O.o

Anyways, pirates are still a conceivable threat to life in KDS, and other Coastal towns, but that should be one less due to events occuring with in the last 4 days in DHN.

And it's definitely sad to see Redfish go...though I'm wondering how did a moose do that much damage?

And even brute dictatorships don't work too well, unless that dictator is damn as well active, and has a lot of help so they don't tire themself out.

No, I meant Eve was there when the pirate "struck", if you can call it that.

Well, I assume you were talking of Draco.

And if you're in DHN at the moment, you'll know what happened, but I surely won't take everyone's safety for granted with these pirates.

Anyways, what caught my eye was the "*wheezes as she polishes the knob of her cane*, and I thought you were implying the her as in Eve. :P

No, not Draco. You're the Ranger. You're supposed to know these things. 8)

No, I was responding to Pirog, so maybe Silverfoot came to mind.

By the way, after these past weeks, I'm thinking maybe we should have a "dead characters" thread, irrespective of whether the players are actually known or not. So many to pay tribute to.

Even though it has little to no effect on game play, the 4-day rule was invented for a reason - "No Exceptions" was even clearly displayed in bold. - But of course, I'm neither players department nor communications, but I'd just like to reitterate the point of WHY we have rules. They're not meant to be broken.

If one person breaks a rule, others think they can to, and it gets out of hand. Very out of hand.

But I'd also like to point out what others have said. Not to ENCOURAGE, but if you don't say anything about the 4-day rule, people won't realise you're breaking it and won't care ;) - Of course, for events that people know of, mainly bigger ones, people will know, and they will complain.

Ah, I assumed you meant Draco by his incompetence in only being able to hunt animals in his past raids.

Except, I guess you were talking about that loser who cleaned Krif up a bit. That was truly pathetic.

I think you mind as well go ahead and start the Dead Chars Thread, Sociologist, I would like to see that.

And yeah, pretty good Silverfoot impression. :P

Sorry to hear about Redfish Jones. He was one of the most original characters I've ever met. As you say though Kroner, death by moose was about right for him, he wouldn't have wanted a 'normal' death.

Bowser at least impersonates him on the forums and spaeks for Crag with some authority. Maybe him.

It is indeed Bowser. For evidence, refer to Page 16 of this thread.

And yes, I have that much free time that could check...
