Nick's characters really were great for the game. I wish we could have them back. If we could have them back without having to deal with Nick OOC Cantr life would be a step closer to perfect.

This thread isn't about Nick. It's about whether you'd play a slave or not in Cantr. And what he did or didn't do is up to him to disclose, not other people. Ass or not, and all other prejuices anyone has about him aside, OOC or IC, his characters were good for Cantr. Doesn't make anything else he did good and doesn't make his characters' value completely negated.

Slaves are fun, but only if you have an RP agreement... see a slave whos player is really annoying and closed minded about RPing, is crap... but someone who can RP well, and would like to try being a slave, is good...

Okay, after being partially inspired by this thread (and against my better judgement) later on tonight I'm going to make a new char.

They won't exactly be setting out to be a slave, but after all my frustration with trying to find good workers to go along with my town leaders, business owners, etc. I can't imagine how hard it must be for people who are trying something a little more inventive.

So, this char won't be interested at all in getting rich for themselves, but will instead be a nice, loyal and easily manipulated gift to the first decently RPed evil slaveowner, wacked out religious leader, delusional control freak, or other weirdo who comes along. I hope you appreciate it.

Uh huh. *nods and marks some things down in his note* Um... now I just need... name and location? Then we should be all set. Your character should have a slave owner in 1-2 Cantr years. :wink:

LOL, I wish I could give out details. She's been pretty much ignored so far.

Oh well, it's a big town, I'm sure there are bound to be a few evil manipulative people there, I just need to give them a little time, maybe paint the target a little brighter....and if I don't get any bites after awhile I can always head to the mountains. Seems like all the controlling types are attracted to them...or at least I know mine are.
