Yup, That's what this thread was started about wasn't it. I mean it's been over a month since most of the action. (:roll: I'm sorry if I'm changing anybody's actions in game by saying that, but it's true.) And plenty of the big names that went down have already been made public on the forum. Why can't we talk about it yet? I'd like to hear other people's views on what happened.

I'm all for OOC discussion about the war to start - but I don't believe it should be done as a means for players of Tribe members to 'set the record straight' - the record should be set IG

I saw how much OOC influence affected hatred of TBR, but I do not think it is as bad as some players make out. The 'atrocities' which TBR were accused of were hyped-up In-Game - there were older characters who had reasons to foster this hatred - the OOC influence was mainly those newspawns who sprung up and said 'where do I sign up to fight TBR' - none of whom had much involvement in the war.

I'd be happy to see discussion now that things are pretty much over IG - but I'd really hate to see characters start confronting Kworian/Karnon accounts as hyped-up based upon what they hear in these forums. Like people have said - the victors should write the IG history - OOC discussion here should not affect how the war is related IG

I've got two people on K-Island, both with personal ties to this conflict. Neither one has heard anything In Game about the outcome. Please let it unfold within the Game.

Nobody involved in anything Cantrian with more than three people, or in more than one location has ever gotten all the news. We can sit and wait for news to travel until everyone knows, but as far as I can tell, news doesn't travel very well in Cantr. On a good day you can get some gossip from one town to the next. But almost all conversation is about the here and now.

How about we open up discussion to day 1550? Will that offend anybody? We can wait a week until the mythical 40 day rule has passed if that's somebody's sticking point.

Maybe we should wait until the most recent character who spawned in Berwhateverilip has died of old age before we talk. Starting out in the middle of all this would have an effect on a characters prejudices and such for the rest of their lives right? And we wouldn't want to change that with forum chatter. Seriously, where will we draw the line?

From the point of view I have, it will likely take real life months for everything to be resolved. And it would be ridiculous to wait until then to let anyone talk about anything.

I too would like to find out ig. The loser's (assuming it is over) account of his carreer, up to 1513 has just reached Kwor, so more news will arrive eventually.

If you are finding out from another character, I question your right, as you are seeing it from different perspectives already, to request an embargo for others!

Obviously the concern is that it will effect others' reactions involved in the current situation.

But we've been over this so many times... people can pm email etc all they want and share information. From all the accounts I've heard CRB was rife back when the game was exciting. If it's in forum its open and honest, if its underground that's when people have an unfair advantage...

Oh and guess what, its the established players who have that advantage... I know I speak from having many PMs and communications from others about various situations!
