I understand your points. Again, I do not play this game for having rp sex but I'm staying in theory.

If I found out my daughter (who is a minor) was having RP sex on this game or any other I would inform the FBI and the local police.

So if you find one of your childs watching a porn site or porn movie, where do you go then?

Different thing: if you cannot let your characters have sex with others because you are concerned they might be controlled by a minor....thus that not in a way impede the development of cantr characters and of the cantr society in itself? If there are parts of society that minors can not fully understand and participate in, then maybe it should be discussed to not let them enter the game(which is I know absurd) or some module that chars cannot utter certain words against chars controlled by minors(difficult).



Finally, if I'd be a parent(which I am not, but do intend to be) I'd still be more shocked to see my kids confronted with pictures, descriptions of killing, torturing than any material having to do with (conventional) sex.

Perhaps this is one of the things that have been wrongly developed in our real society?

If only you'd be honest with yourselves! It's not the kids that is your main consern, you're afraid that someone will rape your own damn characters. Admit it. I hope I never run into them.

Also, there's a big difference of a pedophile who on purpose searches for young people to have (or rp) sex with, and someone who may do it by accident just because they don't bother to do the detective work and prefer to trust their insticts. If you put these two in the same cast, ok, the next moment I might think, "since I've played with at least one teenager and god knows what else, I'm so much of a bloody freak and a criminal that I might as well grow a penis and go screwing babies since the FBI is gonna have my ass on the platter anyway". So there.

Like how all my characters are what they are based on years of development based on the things they've gone through in life. Why more than one of them react by turning violent or developing a hate towards women, I don't know. That just seems like a natural response. It's not like they all did that.

The only way this is ever not going to be problem is if you prohibit minors from playing the game, but once again I've never seen it as a problem anyway.

I'm not in the least bit worried about having one of my characters 'raped' - simply because I would not RP along with it. I play cantr to have fun, RPing rape, to me, just isn't fun.

I'm all for people RPing as much sex as they want, with whoever they want.
I just ask that you don't be naive and assume that any 'instincts' can let you know how comfortable someone is with it, or how old they are.
From experience I can certainly say that, people, especially teenagers, can be easily co-erced into doing something, simply because they do not feel they can say no, and even if the other person doesn't realise, or even want to be, coercive.

I could care less if my character is raped or not. This is just a game to me. Much like playing Monopoly with my family.

As far as pornographic images and violence, I agree with you HF. These are equally as bad for my child. That's why I keep her from as many of these things as I can until she has grown enough to be able to discern situations for herself.

I'm not telling anyone on here to do anything, my point is, that there are parents out there that will not just see Cantr as a game if they find turn reports with their children doing things they don't want them to do. Don't kill the messenger. If anyone thinks there aren't parents or law enforcement that won't take action you are fooling yourself. That's all I'm saying.
