Well... as for the whole I wanna kill the MacGregors/Rangers thing is simple. Out of all the places in Cantr, I've always liked Krif the most. My most interesting Characters have always been there. My best one was Rick, second in command under Maynard Leeward back in the good old days. And I still owe them for killing Maynard too. But anyways... As for killing the Nosse... Might spice up that bore of a town called Djorf. And nothing against people that RP the mute people... But I derrive the most enjoyment out of killing those types of characters. Don't ask why... I just do.

I have to say I wouldn't be too disappointed if all the MacGregor's died. Anyone who randomly imprisons someone for not speaking for 5 days and not introducing himself when everyone else there heard him introduce himself 3 or 4 times should be killed - slowly and painfully.
But then, I'm not a big fan of the whole region. Just doesn't suit the style of role-play I enjoy. And if I don't enjoy Cantr, my chars tend to sleep...

i'd imagine that when a killer like that refuses to interact with his/her victims, it makes the situation seem pretty hopeless to the victims since they have no opportunity to reason or argue. it would also be pretty degrading for them to see that he/she doesn't care enough about them to even exchange a word or two. i think that's the intent. people are complaining because they don't like their characters in that situation. the sense of hopelessness and degradation carries through to the player. but sometimes that's the way things go. i don't think there's anything wrong with it from an rp standpoint.

LOL Was that me? Woah boy, I kept getting shouted for it, well at least twice, but sometimes the things going inside a character's head are too big to be kept inside. Separating the inner world from what others can perceive can be hard, so just putting what ever you feel straight down is much easier.
I won't shout at you Seko. But I do agree that there is a line that can be crossed. It's a personal challenge for me in RP to give as much colorful information without going too far into straight narration. I get bored a lot of times just typing *smiles* , *grins* , etc. They can lose meaning after a while and pretty soon every character is just another smiling vanilla Cantrian.[/quote]

Kroner nailed it on the head. In fact, I specifically tell the other characters not to "say anything" when they go in for the kill. It's totally degrading to the character and as Seko put it lack of respect.
I'm not trying to piss off the player, but totally destroy the characters body and mind. That's the point.
Fritter was abused by many "powerful" characters before he decided to seek revenge on everyone in authority or anyone with wealth or power.
He became Baron F and now seeks out powerful people to kill. He loves to find someone with a crowbar to kill. They always think they are going to get away, but they never do, except for the well noted exception.

And as for the Fritter thing... Yeah it sucks you spent all that time developing your people... but this sorta thing happens in real life. And just like real life, this sort of thing spices up the game. Now i'm not saying its not horrible... but then again I think we should be thanking him. I mean... I'm only using it because I lack a better refference at the moment... but the Krif region would love a war. It would spice the game back up. Places that are so frequently pacifistic only become fun and entertaining to play when tradgety arises. He's just spicing up the game.

Don't confuse your OOC wish to see war in the region, aka "spicing up," with your in character intentions. Because from that argument, just because you get bored with the happenings of town, you commit yourself to "spicing" things up for yourself.
And Missy did nail it on the head, but as for the motives behind the lack of RP - one could just as well say that the player behind the character raiding is just too greedy or too lazy to care about the character aspect.

@Stan... I haven't met your character yet with one of mine. And from the sound of things, I'll be happy not to. But I think that you, as a player, should try to rethink your logic a little.
I see where you're coming from. You want to convey the sick unquestioned disdain that your character has for these people who just don't understand, and could never understand you... but to do it in a way that obviously transfers that feeling to the victem's players is in fact an insult to their RP ability. You don't trust the players enough to role-play the feelings of hopelessness and despair even with the little emotes.
It seems like you could very easily solve this problem by using emotes. You'd be making your fellow Players feel a little better, while at the same time still killing their precious, well-developed Characters mercilessly.
You don't have to go crazy with the emotes. Just let your victim's players see the man behind the machine. I think it would show an immense sign of respect on your part, considering that you do RP well in other places with other characters. (I think I may know your ambassador.)
And that goes for you too, Nick. If I could, I'd give you the extra minutes!

PS: If you come near my character, I will break you!

Everyone needs to leave stan alone about his character seriously, its a *CENSORED* game let him play the character how he wants, stop your bitching. Yeah it sucks about some of the people his Char has killed, but at least he can do it and is doing it. Ive never seen so much bitching about someone killing other characters, i didnt see this much when Craktar and Maynard did it and i didnt see this much when an entire island was killed off. Just shut up and let him play as he had been, remember its a game life goes on and so does it.
CD EDIT: Bran, mind ya language, please.

And Stan claims I flip over a chess game.
And oh, complaining about complainers? How hypocritical.
