Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
Worse is this guy called CrazyHorse who doesn't use asterix. He just says what he is emoting, and one has to be aware of this to realise he isn't saying it. So lazy.. I mean, it's not hard to put in a couple of asterix. He should rename himself to LazyPaws, cuz clearly he can't use the shift key and has paws instead of hands.....

I've run into a couple chars like that lately and I can't help thinking they're the same player who doesn't quite understand how to separate emotes. It can be funny to play out in certain situations if your chars interpret the emotes as spoken. One awhile back had me rolling but I'd have to search through logs to find it.

I OOCly explained it to the player of CrazyHorse (in the game, sadly). I explained that the game mechanics imply CrazyHorse is SAYING that and not emoting. Because the game tells me (or my character) that on 2920 CrazyHorse says: Looks around at his surroundings.
As there was no asterix, my character thought he was -saying- what he emoted.

Sounds like this one guy. There are people who only type with one or two fingers so an apostrophe would be too much of a challenge, but surely there's some sort of a sign on your keyboard that stands out but doesn't require pressing shift? Hyphen for example? Some people use that.

I've already waited and stressed out about this visa for so long, and now I have to wait until Monday to find out for certain.
Does getting a pick-up slip (for my passport and possibly visa) from the US consulate mean I will probably get the visa? They took my passport, so they wouldn't take it without reason, right? The officer who interviewed me didn't give me a clear answer at all.
Ahhhhhhhh US immigration services are so frustrating.

We like to make everything as hard as possible here in the US
My limited experience with USCIS tells me that you will probably be getting a visa, but there are other reasons they might keep your passport. With all of the anti-terrorism, Patriot Act, Homeland security BS we do here you just never know. I would say, though, that your chances are better than not that them keeping your passport means they'll grant the visa.

But WHY would you want to go there, raspberrytea? That's the deeper question.

Yes, I noticed that when I lived there. Coming to Canada was much easier than just trying to continue living in the US. :p

To build a raft and sail to an island in the middle of a lake. ...Really. Even though I can do that anywhere, it's easier when I'm not working three jobs just to try and pay rent.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
So, sad to say, it might soon become painfully obvious who I play (though I've been steadily becoming less active in the past few weeks). Anyways, my charger broke, and I have no money to replace it, and this was my only (fairly) steady way to access cantr for the past while.
Long story short, if a charri around you suddenly is barely active, that's me, and I'm sorry.

It would have been less painfully obvious if you didn't tell us. Now everyone will be looking for suddenly inactive charries
