I'm really a nice person and don't like making people feel bad. I just mess with you guys cuz it's funny. Chase is a little softy though, so I realized it's ok for me to be a jerk to her if I then complement her. Funny thing is she gets off on it too.

Don't expect me to call you beautiful anytime soon though Joo.

I finally got hit with jury duty. I'm actually considering loading up with enough classes to qualify as a full-time student to avoid it.

Haha, another one of those things you didn't have to worry about while you were in the Air Force :P
The freedom to be completely insane, also to lose the game.

Here today, gone from the face of the 'net tomorrow; such is the military life. Pardon my oscillating existence.

I'm a terrible liar. :? I'd get caught if I tried to act extreme in some way to get out of it.

I know! Like I haven't already given more than 5 years of my life serving this country. Jury duty should be optional for veterans.

Oh well. I'll just take something like Home Gardening and Intro to Spanish. My GPA could use a boost and I'll be able to get the last of my GI Bill money if I take more classes.

Update if anyone cares:

It's actually federal jury duty so I'm "on call" for an entire month. Lovely. One week is bad enough. Good news is that my boss's husband is a federal prosecutor so I listed him plus a couple other lawyer friends on the questionnaire. I'm hoping his name on there will get me omitted. Being a full-time student only gets your time deferred until the semester is over.

Advice from my lawyer friend: "say you believe in the death penalty whole-heartedly." She also suggested saying you don't want to sit next to so-and-so because they're black/mexican/white/asian/etc.

Wanna get out of jury duty just tell people you think logically and are not swayed by your emotions in any manner.... then cry. O.o

So I was looking over my transcript from high school today...
And I'm so proud of myself! :D

I needed 21 credits to graduate.
I graduated with 28.5 credits.

I passed all ten of my TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills) tests, and got commended on six out of the ten.

AND!

I graduated in the top 50% of my class.
Ranked 214 out of 500 students. :-D

Yay!!

*cough*

Kay, done gloating now.
