I'm bored. I think I'm gonna do this again.

It has been four days, I believe. Here is a list of every character I played with my most recent account (who I kept a death email for), in ascending order of date:

  1. Unnamed; The character referred to in this post. (Bone spear; 06/04/09).
  2. Talisman; killed by Blackrocks after refusing to identify himself and then calling them inhospitable. (Crossbow; 24/04/09).
  3. Unnamed; killed for being a lunatic/stealing items. (Compound bow; 05/05/09).
  4. Unnamed; starved to death due to hopelessness/inability to cope in the world. (18/05/09).
  5. Brumblebane Tourniquet; commited suicide due to player disinterest. (Starvation; 06/08/09).
  6. Thilma Lewis; starved due to apathy/disinterest. (09/08/09).
  7. Thasyl Ringsgold; starved due to apathy/neglect. (12/08/09).
  8. Puppy; accidentally starved due to neglect. (17/08/09).
  9. Eirikr; accidentally starved (while having sex, technically) due to neglect/apathy. (22/08/09).
  10. Quarantine; accidentally starved due to loss of internet connection. (28/11/09)
  11. Tanya Mandarine; heart attack. (05/12/09).
  12. Ecaftnuc; heart attack. (05/12/09).
  13. Xhrobian; heart attack. (05/12/09).
  14. Felicity; heart attack. (05/12/09).
  15. Gregory; heart attack. (05/12/09).

There's also another one I remember whom I don't have an email for: Elliania, who I think was killed with a crossbow or steel battle axe as a consequence of her pirating exploits... so the list is not exhaustive.

Ah... I found more in another post I made.

Jett Blackburn - lived for 6.75 years - died in a duel with bone clubs.
Malon Nolam - lived for 0.1 years - animal attacks (I think).
Henjin Jon - lived for 10.8 years - dire wolf attack.
Jen - lived for 2.35 years - starvation due to unavailability of food and neglect.

I have gone through my turn reports, and remembered more.

Rigor Mortis. He starved due to apathy/neglect, if I recall.

Wintrow. Accidentally starved because I forgot to put him back on his cooking project after helping to drag a corpse.

Joo, I hate you so much for letting Rigor die and giving Felicity a heart attack. Maybe her dying act was to unlock her door? That would be awesome.

It's funny how just a few characters can make the game miserable. Maybe I'm just oversensitive due to PMS but it sucks when there are things that seem bigger than your characters and you can't really do anything about it, while sometimes things might be bad in a passive manner and you can't do anything about that either. Roleplaying is like a theater where the actors are also the audience but you might end up in a situation where you're forced to become the audience without a chance to act, or you were only allowed to act according to a script written by other actors or you get kicked out of the troupe or you might have an audience who just sits still and doesn't react so you don't know if they're hating the show or bored or sleeping with their eyes open or actually dead.

No good deed goes unpunished.... Stopped by two houses to feed/medicate/let out animals for friends and at the second house one of the dogs bit me. :? Still had shopping to do so I was walking around the store with a paper towel wrapped around my bleeding fingers.

Good news is I scored a total of 4 bottles of beer, some tangerines, milk and frozen pastries. :)

I am actually almost as sad about a character one of mine interacted (A LOT) dying as with any real friend dying.

Does this make me mentally unstable or anything similar?

I still feel kinda bad. And it's silly how Sundays and sometimes Saturdays too are always so quiet in Cantr when I would have time to play. Thursday and Friday night I think it was I had to stay up to catch the 1 am travel tick even though I was feeling ready to sleep and it made me think isn't that going a bit too far? Having school at 8 am, getting up before 7 am and staying up past 2 am just to play a game even though you don't like the setting, your character just feels obliged to get involved. But I think I managed to put some distance into it.
