Thanks a LOT!
Don't remember where I was - I realized life was a game - The more seriously I took things - The harder the rules became

I was referring to the "terminology war over who is what, what is what".
Then your post makes less sense as it isn't proving or disproving anything. You mentioned one term (Criminal hacker) which others may call various other terms to mean the same thing (cyber-criminal, black hat, and on and on) and even among that limited set of terms, there will always be debate regarding status of each term. That is why I likened it to people labeling musical genres.
Example-
Person a: That is metal.
Person b: No, that is hard rock.
And so on...
And regardless of legal terminology, there is always going to be contention over the labeling/definition of who is what, what is what, and so on.
Anyways, great job everyone on getting the game back up and running!

Re: Game is locked
This is going off topic, but...
My point is there is no need for a discussion on terminology here. The hacker committed acts that are criminal in his country, thus he is a criminal according to the Polish government. What you or I label him is of very small importance.

Re: Game is locked
I'm sorry to have started this.
What I referred to was what the guy called -himself-, a professional in the business who makes his living working with the police etc. I guess he took a pride in being called, and calling himself, a 'hacker' and there is not a person in this country or any other who could call his acts criminal. So he got a bit prickly about 'bad guys' being compared to his profession with the same generic term.
The guy who did this can be called a whole bunch of terms that I would rather not use in public.
As far as Cdls, Greek, Echoman, Pies and any other person I am forgetting right now (Seko maybe?). I call you all people that I admire for doing the thankless job you do. So for the second time in this thread... Thank you.
Be well

Re: Game is locked
Ever since the game was unlocked I have been having issues with Cantr. The game constantly seems to log me out and gives me an "Error: Your Session is Incorrect" message. I also run into issues with the talk to all button and pop up opens informing me there was an error. Was wondering if anyone else was experiencing these same issues?

Re: Game is locked
Yes, I'm also having that first issue, sometimes I log in, try to go to a character, and the page won't load, so I refresh, or try typing in cantr.net again, and I'm logged out. Also every time my internet goes out even for a second, which is a lot because we use a 4g hotspot but Cricket's service blows, I also get the error I'm not logged in.
I've been assuming that it might be some kind of really drastic security measures because of the recent hacking incident, but it is a little inconvenient and cuts me off at random times so I'm starting to think it's a bug.

Re: Game is locked
Currently, game logs you out if you try to do something from different ip than you used during the login. It's problematic especially when you use mobile/wireless connection which is unstable. It's also quite hard to play using tor.
Once I thought it's good idea, but I've experienced these problems on my mobile phone and I'll try to develop better way of securing sessions. But until then it will remain as it is.

Thanks for the explanation at least good to know what is causing the problem.

Re: Game is locked
Okay so.. I guess I'm just not gonna play anymore, I can't even log in now, I log in and click on a character and it logs me out, so I can't even move anyone, I can't even see any events, I can't even click the freaking X if I wanted to, this is really messed up, there's a difference between heightened security and the game not being fun at all anymore...

Re: Game is locked
I won't, but it's just so frustrating and makes it less fun. It's worse on my tablet and I use that more because I don't like being "trapped" at a computer all day.. and the only good internet I can get is at school so I get logged out like every 5 minutes, even when I'm trying to type and stuff DX
