Music inspired by the events that day in Cantr...

Lad at war again: Metal.
Massacre: Death marches.
Boring day: New age music.
Exodus @ Sring Island: Jewish violin music. (The really sad stuff).

And the regular news broadcasts ofcourse... with a 4 day delay. :D

Blind Guardian would be great for a huge world war type of thing :D

And...Eppu Normaali would work nicely for a boring but overall nice day.

But where would my japanese gothic symphonic stuff come in?

The music on the Greatful dead music link would be good for the discussion in Kwor right now. 8)

Yea, if you want your own server... My computer is sh!t, and I'm not allowed to let it running 24/7 :(.

So is there someone who has a pc here who isn't using it? Where we might can put a lite server thingie on, so we can test our music + mic etc?...

And erm... music: Well, because there are so many different ppl playing cantr, I guess we would have a lot of different genres. Like me: I would play some punk... but also pop and sometimes even oldies! (i listen to alot of different stuff).

::10votaal:: would play oldies all the time ;) (billy joel etc).

etc... etc...

Not all the time Jochem

I have an Idea, why don't I host Late Edition on Cantr Radio, in witch I interview Characters from Cantr. :D

And now we turn over to the Dutch area where I spoke with the old leader of Sil Jochem van Leeuwen, now searched for serveral criminal charges.

And about my music, almost everything...but not to much extremes :P

I just had a thought, will the radio be in English, or just multi-lingual..?

Well... I had English in mind, but if someone can convince me that multi-lingual is also a good idea... For myself, I think multi-lingual would be nice, since then you can have the several language areas, and let them all have their own news... like for every language one hour a day, and all the other hours in English.

We're planning on setting up an internetradiostation: Cantr radio. Maybe a change you're intrested in joining as a DJ...? You don't need special stuff, apart from some music, and a microphone.

How would you get music to air on the station? I mean like any special programs or what-not. I can think of a handy tool for PC's:

USB mixer, just like with decks but you use it on your PC with, MP3's and also CD's which are in your comp. so you can use the files on your comp to play, cut, scratch mix..

Or maybe i should explain a bit..?

Not really air ;)... wires :D.

Oh... erm... nvm, lol.

I use several 'dj' (like sam2 and traktor) programs, if I would really start to mix etc. But I think this station is not really a station for ppl mixing etc, but more for just 'playing' the songs, crossfading them (or not) and talking trough it a bit. Quite simple :).

[edit]And the DSP plugin for winamp, of course, to connect to the server[/edit]
