Collective pride!

Anyway, it would come down to the Collective and TRB. The groups outside KF don't have enough steel. Firecam Inc. might also stand a chance. They don't tend to get involved in politics (or at least they haven't since the fall of the council) so it's hard to tell what their capabilities are.

the Collective v. TBR
A small group with superior organization and reliability v. large numbers, half of whom are unarmed or mentally unstable... I really don't know who would win...

Some of us don't care about steel and war some of us would like to access the metal to actually advance society in that region you knuckle heads. Or is that concept to hard for your small pea brians to understand.
Somehow you strayed and lost your way,
and now there'll be no time to play,
no time for joy,
no time for friends
- not even time to make amends.
You are too naïve if you do believe life is innocent laughter and fun.

Hmmm. More people than I'd have thought know of us Malinagos.

By the way, was there once while ago a larger settlement at Plaekur? There's loads there, but no activity...

honestly i think Siom would pulverize Quillanoi i've been to both criminals in siom rarely get more than a day away (this is land based not water) and in quillanoi i had a thief escape pretty damn far, nobody could stop him before he was out of range  and he was on foot
and the macgregors, i have been around the region, are most of them hidden? i barely seen many, haven't been killed by a macgregor, lost a couple characters to the animals in the region though, as for red knights... yikes, i've only seen a few stone cutters so far but i think the red knights would be able to conquer the macgregors if few-none are hidden (but that would leave red knight homelands unprotected)

Pea Brians, huh? Damn those Brians.

Iron and hematite have been free for the taking for over 10 cantr years. coal is uncontrolled, and limestone has its own interesting stories.

Point is, g1asswa1ker, that anyone can make steel if they actually work at it. Hell, there are a lot of locations better located than Karnon Forest for the making of steel; why aren't they as powerful as the Forest?

Face it, some people just suck more than others at getting together the necessary resources

Yeah, K island is the one place I think it's possible to get everything for steel fairly easily, and you don't have to kill anyone to do it. There isn't any logical reason to complain about the availablity of steel on that island, if you don't have it then there is only one of two reasons, either you haven't had enough time to get it put together yet, or you haven't tried.

I expect to see KORT rise in power sometime soon.

KorT can go to hell. Joshua will rise before Obilo because Obilo can't situate anything, and he won't stop bitching at Joshua, but Joshua has it all planned out and has already set things in motion, and Holly likes Ryan so that's a plus, and Holly is friends with Toast, and Toast is bitchin'.

Anyways I have to agree with Glasswalker. Some people are trying to get steel and iron for tools, not weapons.

And they can do that

they just must not be trying hard enough.

I can get steel and iron for both

I have to agree that Siom could crush Quillanoi. (I hope to see it some day. XD ) I also think that even if Quillanoi was attacked on its own land, they'd still stand a major chance of loosing provided Siom had a plan. A boat would work nice too. :)

As for Clans...just like others, I have hardly seen any of the Macgregors. I seen one in krif forever ago, that was it.

The commonwealth? I'm sure that it would fall against the clans. Land or no, the commonwealth itself is falling apart. I think it has gotten lazy. Thats just opinion of course.

One char was massacred, other is alive and wealthy

Little confused as to wtf you're talking about, then.

I don't think the Gregors are really as strong as they are made out to be. When you take a look at the other groups in Cantr, they seem small time. Although their "hype" that they have built up over the cantr years is really amazing... especially to see how much they evolved into what they are today.
I would think the Knights could easily crush the Gregors.

And as for Siom and Quillanoi... I don't even have to think about that one;
Siom would destroy Quill.
