So is it just one Tolkienist playing all those characters with names like Illuvatar, Tinuviel and Turin, or are there more Middle-earth fanatics out there than I thought?

I like the Olipifirovash region and surrounding towns.. Mainly because of all the different cultures there.. You've the strict stonecutters in the forest with rules out the rear end.. then next over you have olip west with no rules except "no hitting".. in olip, you've a fairly decent government but is friendly to visitors and in the north you have a city getting on it's feet while friendly to visitors. I like that area a bunch...

Then you have the Commonwealth not too far away and the whole religion of the Unnamed Ones which spices things up.

There's more than one. How many more, I don't know.

I know of at least 3 who play the game, and I know who plays (or played) the majority of Tolkienish names, but not sure about a lot of them.

yeah i agree, it is an interesting area. my character in olip went to the forest for his job and it was major culture shock. he couldn't stand the place. but i guess he's just not used to it, living in olip all his life.

favourite cities

My favorite cities are Sserperia Esfeld (or Sserperia Stad as the citizens there call it) and Olipifirovash.

Sserperia stad because the spririt and the teamwork there is extraordinary and Olipifirovash because it is built up and there is friendly people there. :)

Instead of creating a new topic I thought I'd pull an old one up. Doesn't really have to be a city, more so what I'm wondering is what is your favourite place?

I've not really been playing long enough to say where mine is, I am enjoying all the places where my characters are. Some a little quieter than others, but I'm getting something back from all of them.

So a question for everyone who has played for a 6 or 7 months, even better a few years, where is currently your favourite place?

Zuzi. Seems to have the right mix of characters, and isn't too loud.
