Just a wild guess, is your char also handicapped? Maybe a little...slow? Because there's only one I can think of off the top of my head who was good friends with Howto, at least while my char was still around.

No, he's not handicapped... he just refers to himself in third person. Yeah, Alex Nightwalker died so... the Temple had tried to seize power, but it didn't go over very well.


It's definitely been more than four days, right? And it's not very crucial information, well not specific.

I might as well mention, your char is also well-roleplayed and pretty funny at times. (Though I gotta tell you, he does come off as a little impaired. :p )

And I knew the Temple would be a corruptive influence on him! Buncha' fanatics...

Yeah... Ged is kinda stuck in the middle, although I think he is a little more with the non-temple people, but he is trying to keep it altogether.

Well, my char always thought he was amusing, but then again she's been dead awhile and that was all before the current drama.

And Hagan, so you're responsible for Howto! Great job with him, Olive always thought he was the most intelligent person she'd met in that town.

Thanks Lumin he is fun to play but I must ask the same as TatteredShoeLace what happened to Olive.. Howto thought she had left while he was hiding out inside... then when he was asked about her and got to looking he saw her body.. so he saddly burried her

and the name *smiles* well I knew I was creating a deaf mute and was trying to think of a good name for him.. then I got to thinking "HOW TO " play a deaf mute guy so I just named him that "HOWTO"

Sadly I have had to adabt him to lip reading to keep up during the take over attempt but he was more fun before that at least he tries to not understand if it was not spoken directly at him

Yes, I was Olive Rivers. TSL, who did you play? (She actually didn't get to know that many people in here life, though I had plans for her...)

Anyway, her dying was my fault, I deleted that account. Hated to, but I was just at a point where I was spending waaay too much time online; my grades were slipping and I basically had no social life anymore. It wasn't all Cantr, but that was one of the things I decided had to go.

...of course then it turned out that I could only stand to stay away about a month, though this time around I'm limiting myself to just a couple of chars.

(As for the rest of my hobbies, I'm still managing to stay away from MUDs and Puzzle Pirates, so reclaiming my life has at least been a partial success...)

Poor old Howto, we do try to include him as much as possible, but I think we all forget to write in the ground for him. It's good that he's learning to lip read though

My charrie was very sad to hear about Olive's death. She was her first friend in life......her, Howto and Ged. She was glad to hear Howto had survived the turmoil though, and is doing very well.

I would like to give some RP praise to the player of Saladin of the Stone Knights in Olipifirovash Forest for his excellent roleplay of the skirmish between Saladin and Lan Spiretower. Some of the moves used were rather brilliant, and the battle was intense, entertaining, and overall, incredible. Well done. Most fun I've had on Cantr in a long time.
