Kyan, for his gentle demeanour.

And I want to say Kyaaaaaaaan whenever he's being adorable

OMG Kyan yes! He is so freakin adorable, I wish we could keep him. :D He's so innocent and sweet but without falling into the trap of the 'childlike char' I usually dislike so much. I'm just sorry there's been so much drama around lately, I'd have loved it if we all could just goof off and have continual spoon fights. :P

Seconded. Maybe thirded. Lost count, but Kyan is awesome. Nice to have a good, innocent character who plays the part with real believability.

I've heard from a reliable source that Victor is pry in need of a personal massager for intimate self-healing? But I wonder now if a stone one would be more to his liking than mere carved wood. He'll always carry a piece of the mountain around inside him that way. :)

Abdican Charles. For being so frustratingly amazing. You certainly do make my character go mad sometimes but she wouldn't change if for the world.

I have probably said it before, and I'll say it again: I really enjoy playing with Avren. She may get on my nerves sometimes, and not all of my chars who've met her like or trust her, but she is an interesting, dynamic character, who is consistently RPd to a standard I wish I could maintain, even when all is quiet and nothing insane is happen (which is rare).
I as a player really enjoy my experiences with her.

From ANONY

I'd like to take a moment to throw some praise out to Masayo of Klojt. In my short time playing, he's been a constant favorite, and absolutely stunning. He totally does not deserve what he's been put through, and it breaks my and my character's hearts. Major kudos to the gentleman. I haven't met many other characters (if any) who are as genuine, kind-hearted, and deep as Masayo.

Also, my praise goes out to Lyric. A second close to being one of my favorites. Lyric's depth, sensitivity, and insight is absolutely cherish-able.

Finally, Alex Swift. Thanks for giving my character a chance whereas most wouldn't. And in such a fun way! Thanks for being the life of the party. :)

That's three nights in a row he's had me laughing my ass off. I'm deeply regretful I don't have a char in Zuzi anymore...which is a sentence I never, ever thought I'd say.

Biin Hejj has his own mind. I've begged. I've pleaded. I cannot control him. And I cringe and weep for the future, because he forced me at mouflon-point to compose no less then fourteen songs in a 48-hour span this week. Not all are as goofy, but some are going to be...ouch.   My apologies in advance. I'm somewhat serious when I think I've got to go see a shrink now.

My thanks goes out to my high-school friend, Paul Mehlhaff, for being the real life image behind Biin the singer-songwriter. Goofy? Birdlike? Spastic? OMG, yes. We used to go into karaoke bars and sing Devo's "Whip It."

And now I picture Biin doing this, and the mental image is just the thing to start the day off right with. :D

Samuel (BHS) – Has had the spot at the top of my praise list reserved for a long time. A long time for me, not a long time for him. In my opinion he's maintained a perfect environment, I was so naturally able to develop a character that I wouldn't normally try and play. I don't think I can express how much I learnt about patience with Cantr, and RP vs. game mechanics. This was the biggest influence on my gameplay in the last year, and I think it shows. BHS completely won me over and if that wasn't evident in character then I'll eat my hat. This is long term RP, at a pace anyone can keep up with, not lacking in culture. Outstanding.

Morgan (Due West) - Over time we found a good pace and reached understandings, all without me even thinking "I wonder who plays Morgan". It was an absolute pleasure to catch your Bird Accumulation Disorder (BAD) and to climb all over your ship for no damn reason other than to entertain you. Destiny eh? Well now I'll be the one getting mushy. Were you my Captain or my Lady? I could have sailed the blue for the rest of eternity and never found anything more valuable than you. I'll really miss it.

Daisy Lu Rolfe - I was so excited as a player to be docking back to Sring-Sri. I have such an obsession with the place and the rye bread. You were a role model from the start, to the point where one of my characters didn't wear shoes until they were gifted them in their fifties, because your leadership and your bare feet were in such stark contrast to the leaders many of my first characters knew. Thank you for keeping me playing back when I was a silly newb. I think you do an awesome job, it must be hard work.

October Skye - Well if you done didn't outdo yourself. My character could never grow facial hair, whereas my sweet younger brother can now, finally. I think you got him into beer. Ba-dum-tss? I wasn't at home when I read your drinks list. Had this stupid goofy smile on my face for so long, everyone probably thought I was insane. Maybe I am.

Qhal Marigold - It was fairly early on that I realised I couldn't actually fault you. You're a real mystery and every bit of your RP made me smile. I love your quirky ideas and attention to detail. I wish I could have been a bit better for you dear, but even though Jenna was developing at the time you spawned, she had been lost for a long while by then. I'm not praising you here to keep you in game. Maybe an anony praise in the past was from me in attempt to keep you in game before though...

Avren – If you like someone, you've got to respond to them. So I can tell Avren likes a lot of people. She also dislikes a lot of people. Gaabba-gabba-gaba-gab ^_^ I found it really fun to play in Olip, and I think it was the kind of fun that could be sustained. Like, really fun. There's some connection formed in my brain that stimulates happy and lemon drops whenever I see certain players about the internetty realm.

Lennon Harper – It was the talking meat and awkward cooking, it was great. It really got my attention - because you weren't trying to grab attention. I had been feeling a bit stale in PDW because my friends had left or fallen asleep. You brought me back, and you're super funny and cool.

Jebrez – aka Honeyman. Is he English or Polish or something else? Who knows. Am I going to try and give him points on the top 100 anyway? Sure as hell I am. This unique guy has cleverly custom designed everything and an owl friend. Plus he saved my character's life and I went on to be pretty cool in my opinion.

Jessica West – You and your popcorn and your hilarity. I never got to ask you how you got those funny lines on your arms, miss. You're fun to be around, and I saw a few responses you had to Philis that I thought were spot on RP, amongst the general awesome.

Philis (Ma'am) – You so busy. No time for hugs. I hug you anywaay. This player grasped the resourcey tradey side of the game so much better than I did, why are you not on some department? I admire your response to drama. You're also one of those people with 4-6 grams of lemon drops in your inventory. Shame on you all. They've now stuck to your handbag and got all fuzzy. Sand on too. I warned you.

I'm not done. 3 more days, more praise.

I have to put some praise here for Olivia Marypop. Ran into her with two of mine now in very distant places. Having her roll through a town recently, my reaction was an instant 'OMG, this character is insane, in all the best ways' followed by 'OMG, this player is having so much fun. '

And there we have it, the correct way to play a game. Do things, and have fun with it! The fact that she's making it more fun for others in the course of that is just icing. My only regret is that I couldn't have met her with a more interesting character...

I, and my character who has met her and her little posse, would disagree with that, but :| meh.

Hard to know what you're talking about without details, and this wouldn't be the place to post them, but 'making the game less fun' is a pretty harsh implication and one I'd usually solely reserve for people who strangle RP opportunities through killing, extreme attention whoring, bad/indifferent leadership or otherwise.

I still stand by my praise because she was hilarious, and the player obviously wasn't taking themselves too seriously. Also, free stuff. :D I don't know I guess I just didn't see anything there deserving of a :| face, but YMMV. I just so rarely see people doing fun or interesting things in this game, and even when I ran into her I felt a little bad for her because the player was giving people all these hooks to RP off of and they were barely responding.
