From Anon
Twoflower of the Krif area. I think you can guess that my char felt sad when you passed away. You were a character with different sides, a puzzle for more than one reason. I don't know who played you, I just hope he/she doesn't give up with such interesting chars again. Have fun with messing the other world.

I'm quite certain that most everyone would be glad to see her go, as she was quite a heinous bitch :P Real life has been getting a bit rough, and I haven't had an awful lot of time for the game. Logging into her had started to become quite a chore, so I decided it was time to throw in the towel.

Sorry to hear about Asher. My character who did interact with her, didn't like her much, but always respected the player behind.

:(

That really, really sucks.

I only briefly met Madame, but it was a memorable event for my character and he was great. The game is without a doubt less rich without him.

I wanted to write a small story about Earl Scott's life, and how he came to disguise himself as Madame du Pont. He was a very colourful character and easy to play. I'm not feeling it at the moment though. He was involved in a lot of things, setting up a taxi service (from A to B, for free) and a ferry service while avoiding the underground buffalo society that haunted him and his friends Abigail Durooth and Edward Shen, doling out precious gemstones to strangers and gossiping about the people he met. It was my intention to have him become the Cantrian version of the hairdresser, privy to the island's secrets through the personal chats he has in his taxi. Unfortunately he died without having ever had a single customer.

That's all I feel like writing for now.

Aww... my character that met him and his friends enjoyed them very much.

My char still has some of the offered gems... but the character was a gem also. Well played.
==========================

I want to say goodbye to Tia Malouf... a memorable Cajun queen with a spirit that was fire and passion. I will greatly miss her.

Ariel Parker: The essence of kindness and sweetness. A great cook, and even greater wife. This one will hurt for a long time.

Rest in peace to you both.
You will be remembered long by some, and future generations will wonder who you were.

Abigail Durooth. She spawned a sweet and clumsy girl, worked hard to clothe everyone she could for no pay. She was a mamma-hen to Earl, defending him from the hoard of people who picked on him for being different in Baaak. She was at one point known as a boat theif, though it was a misunderstanding in that her intent was to help others, always. She loved Rose despite their falling out, she loved her friends in Baaak, the friends she took with her (Jacky, she idolised you), and all the friends they made in their journeys. (Shout out to Kitty and Phillis who were some of the very few town leaders to accept them at face value).

She very much indulged Earl and his conspiracies, and to this day it remains unclear to me when she went from playing along, to fervantly believing and living his truths. But she adored him, and there was no Abi without Earl, it would have nevr worked. (And I'm glad neither has to live without the other, though devasted that both are gone.) She didn't have the charisma to work it like him. And to Edward, you were a most perfect fit into their twosome, even if you were always getting in the way of things :P.

I only met Abigail and Madame once, but they made an impression on the character, and got a well-earned entry in their 'interesting people' note.

Madame was a lot of fun, and Abigail was....well, my character was a little bit concerned for her. ;) But their section in the note contains the phrase 'They are both delightfully insane, in all the best ways.'

The gem is still being carried around, and kept separate from others the char owns now, the way it was given making it special and actually helping to plant the seed of a little fantasy of someday traveling to a far away island and digging up some more at the source.

And for what it's worth, at one point I was seriously considering trying to ring up the taxi service to get an acquaintance a ride somewhere, before other things happened that delayed their trip.

It really, really is a terrible shame and a loss for the game as a whole that those two are gone, my character and I both liked to think of them as rolling around the island, having a great time and brightening the lives of others just by being themselves.

Abigail and Earl will be missed. I had wished for their story to continue on long after they had left Baaak. My character spawned in the middle of the town's uproar over Earl, and in the middle of other relationship conflicts, which made her extremely wary of people. She always found it funny that Earl took an interest in her when her only interest was in animals. After Abigail and Earl left, she discovered that she really missed them despite her misgivings about people and so went ultra-violent on the feral animals, keeping alive the name of "Skullsmasher" in their memory and honor.

From the afterlife: Maisie 'Skullsmasher' Star would like to welcome Abigail Durooth and Earl Scott into the great halls of Valhalla where she and her mouflon flock have prepared a great buffalo feast in their honor. The tables are all decorated with the bleached-white skulls of their buffalo enemies vanquished in glorious battle, and the bleaty mouflon sitting all around raise their glasses to toast you.

Holy crap! They talked about Maisie to people all the time! She was a legend! They missed her when they left her (and so did I!)

edit: iirc there was talk of going back and taking her with them.

So it's been three days so here we go.

Meem- one of my oldest
Domician Lore- another old one who I really had mixed feelings about, because of the great players involved with me. But my personal life came first.
Ohana
Feirrar - I really stopped playing her once Zaida fell asleep, then died. It was a good choice now that I had her follow her loved one.
