Biin Hejj won't take this news well. He's already devastated for other reasons. I'm sorry to see her go, but she was a tortured soul for some time. Still Biin and I will miss her.

You play perhaps some of the most creative and interesting characters in the game. I love coming across your characters when I recognize them. But, sadly, except for one I know, all of your other characters are gone from mine. And that last one probably won't be around much longer. :(

It's now been four days since Elisandra ("Pebbles") died. She didn't know very many people. She always loved Alice, even when Alice was with Kirby, but she felt uncomfortable around Christian and most men in general. The exception was Ben, until they had a falling out.

She was troubled through most of her life, even her spawning was traumatic. She spawned afraid and ran into a building, but Alice send her a kind note and some clothes. In some other town she might have been scolded over entering a building that wasn't hers, but not in Reniov Mountains.

When Elisandra was young, the only two couples in town were both lesbian, so she grew up thinking it was natural for women to love women, and she couldn't figure out how men fit into the equation. Only when she traveled out and saw the world, she came to realize that people loving the opposite sex was more common, and some people even considered gay people creeps. This made her depressed for a while, but her friends helped her get over it. She was also prone to obesity in spite of her small stature, or maybe because of it, but she lost weight when she was depressed.

I think the only big thing she did in her life was giving Joedi a ride to another town and rescueing her from her sleeping mistress. That made her feel like a hero for a moment.

She died of a sudden heart attack, on her 80th spawnday, although the symptoms had started a day before. I didn't intentionally time it that way, but dying on your birthday is extra tragic.

Vance. Unfortunately one of those on my cut back list. Now his wife, poor Corey can claim the other half of his things and the other half of his ship!

I'm really sorry about Pebbles, for whatever reason she had to die, Alice did love her and had kind of thought that argument had slipped her mind and her wanting to travel with her and overcome her fear would make Pebbles happy again =( sadly, Alice can't move on from this, I don't know if I'm going to let her go, it's very very hard for me to kill a character but she literally has nothing left.. plus she did promise not to leave Pebbles, and she is certain that it's all her fault, and that the note and bringing up their past argument is what killed her. There's no one else for her to live for and the town is dying. Also.. not to be rude but I really really wish I'd had a bit more warning, because crying in public was not fun for me personally no matter how well RPed the death scene was, and had I known what was happening - which I guess I really should have but of all people I didn't expect Pebbles to die and she'd already been sick a hundred times - I could have sought some privacy... and I wish their life could have had that much interaction, it was so quiet and Pebbles rarely spoke to Alice in the last years, and then when I finally thought we would have some RP and some traveling, it's all over and I'm not sure I understand, but it seems to always happen that way...

This is part of the reason Alice didn't want to be with Pebbles initially, as I'm sure you see now, she knew she wasn't relationship material because of Kirby and Christian (Pebbles might have thought they looked in love but Alice had to basically beat Christian off most of the time, it was not fun or a nice relationship and Kirby and Christian treated her in pretty humiliating ways sometimes regardless of her feelings, though she did love them, they made her feel bad about herself), she knew her being leader would always be in the way of the duties of a lover like her being unable to leave town, but Pebbles pushed and Alice thought she would die if she kept rejecting her and out of guilt she conceded, but this only further proves her fears of being a terrible lover and friend, as far as she knows when Pebbles read that note it broke her heart and killed her.

If I don't muster up the courage to let Alice die, I'm not sure what she'll do really, probably just quiet working like normal.. but I know she'll never be the same again. Pebbles was the only person who truly loved her, unconditionally, not like Kirby and Christian who always wanted sex and fell asleep (or even got angry sometimes in Christian's case) if they didn't get it, she respected Alice and made her feel safe, she was supportive and she was an actual partner, and she'll be missed...

IC Pebbles didn't want to die, but her health was bad. I won't go into OOC reasons in public. Sorry for making you cry without a warning. The only way of making it obvious it was going to be a heart attack would've been to say it OOC and that would've broken the immersion. I looked up the signs of a heart attack and rp'd several of them without the chest pain because that would've been too obvious.

It's been a while, but... Corbin Bianchi.

He spawned as a female named Cora, and lived like that for ten years. When he was almost thirty, he came out as transgender to his best friend, who was gay, and they started dating. Unfortunately, his boyfriend started getting really sleepy, and he started feeling a little lost. He met a trans girl, who he really fancied, but by that point, he was already long gone.

Didn't really want to let him go, but new job means lots of hours, and not as much time for cantr. Ah well :/

They were, and he was fun to play for a while. I still think Corey is an amazing character, very well played and I LOVE her. Unfortunately my lack of interest in the game has had me cut way way back to the ones I seem to want to put an effort into and can actually seem to wake up. I'm down to 5 now, likely will get down to three soon.

Gods help the people around her now. There's no one to keep her in line anymore. Hehe.

Corbin's death makes me realise time is not as slow as I thought it was. That town is great, but it only worked because of the players allowing it to advance slowly. Characters there have remained constant for years, slowly revealing their true intentions.

It's unique in Cantr, where as of late the only interesting large-scale roleplay seems to be in quick-moving scenes.

Gotta be one of the things I like most about that town. It continues to be one of my favorites to rp in. My character will be very saddened to hear about Corbin though.

It's been a very long time since these characters were lost to mine, and every time I check that char, I miss them both dearly.

Iri Holl - Queen of Port Sierra, the one who did so much for that town, and cared for everyone equally. I severely regret my split second decision which resulted in this character's death, but we both know that we couldn't not have just sat there and watched what was happening. An honourable death, but no less painful.

Paul Paulsen - Where do I even start? A font of knowledge and a part of Cantr's living history, not a great man just because his map of Omeo, but because he was the gentlest soul I've ever met in the game. Their companionship and love, which spanned over several decades, and involved visiting many islands, was so comfortable, and I'm genuinely sorry that they had that single argument, which was thankfully resolved soon after. How I wish their trip was a little longer, which would mean that you would not have been in the harbour on that day, and taken and killed by a couple of cowards, who also killed Iri.
