Well, Kita and Cuthbert will be missed by one of mine, even though they don't know the latter passed and there are things closer to home going on.

Dear catwill,
Unfortunately I did not have the pleasure of meeting one of your characters. I hope you will find your way back to the game sometime in the future, so that we can change that.
For now, all the best in real life!

Re: The Dead Character Thread
I met three, and I enjoyed them all. Malin and her cheeky present. Cuthbert and his harem, but Kita will leave the biggest gap though, as you know. But thanks for making my character look so damn good. Ha!
Onwards and upwards Cat.

Re: The Dead Character Thread
I had the pleasure of knowing four of catwill's characters in game (all the ones Otherside named and Ellis as well), and they were all enjoyable to interact with. But as her OOC friend as well, I understood the reasons for her decision and wish you all the best, Catwill.

His stone may live but his body did not; still, that is how he always wanted it.
Alas, he did not convert a single soul.
His brain was a much a stone as he fancied himself.
My first character to be killed.
He was not killed by stone knights... The stone knights brought him back to Olip West.. There are no stone knights there. Olip West killed him.

I might have briefly met Cuthbert, but I know Kita and Amara will be missed by those of my characters which knew them.

Re: The Dead Character Thread
I've been meaning to do this for a while. 5 of my characters died during my mission, so this was a long time ago, though some lasted longer than others.
Here they are:
Josué Matías (Spanish, age 51): He had a simple life as a town worker and he died early on as no one fed him.
(Senator) Donna Olivera (age 138): I'd say this character was my greatest loss of the five and also the only one killed by someone else. She spawned on K-island and eventually ended up on Karnon where she worked and joined the Imperial Republic of Karnon, which also included Karnon Seaside and West Kol. She participated in Karnon and then one of the most significant events in Cantr history at least for me occurred: the war between the Blackrocks and the Imperial Republic, the De Danaans, and Firecam. Just out of luck and Cantr lag Donna got the last hit on Nick and Steven Blackrock when they were killed. Afterwards Donna served as Lieutenant and life continued, but the Imperial Republic died out over the years, just from people becoming inactive. After most everyone was gone she ended up leading the Imperial Republic with Bob watching over Karnon Seaside. More years passed and Bob died as well. She made an effort to get newcomers involved and there were a couple but she didn't have much success. When the Blackrocks returned she attempted to be an ally to them, but she was a bit upset that they took Karnon Seaside and didn't like the way they did things. She spoke with Naedell and the Blackrocks, Stella and the Guardians, people at Kwor, and others, basically defending every side and getting the facts straight. However, it's true that she was considering a future fight against the Blackrocks. She spent a long time writing out history and the discussions that took place. Things came to a close when she had to go to sleep and after a couple Cantr years the Blackrocks, unaware of her sleep, after some effort found her in an inner room in Karnon and killed her for some of the things said in the note. Thus marked the end of The Imperial Republic as far as I know.
Katie Angel (age almost 147): Katie spend many years in solitude leading the town of Blaman Mountains West, though there were more newspawns at times and also traders who came by. She simply worked and traded and helped as she could, hoping to manage the nearby abandoned towns as well. She lasted a while, but didn't manage to get ahold of 14600 grams of salted meat, and so eventually died of hunger.
Xavior Xander (age 53): Xavior was only 40 years old when he went to sleep and as far as I remember was a simple traveler with a boat of his own. He came to Ladvicitavoi Forest North shortly before his sleep and the citizens there were kind to feed him, and he lasted an impressive 13 years. However, he eventually died of starvation as well.
David Rider (age 157): Captain David Rider was the last to die and also my second most dissapointment. He was an explorer, and with his raker for decades and decades he travelled the sea and mapped his travels with the goal of creating a map for the enter Cantr world, since at first there weren't any such maps or good ones available. He had some crew members as well, and when he went to sleep he left his raker and himself in charge of them, asking in return only that they would continue to feed him, but eventually he starved as well. Getting ahold of 14600 grams of salted meat isn't the easiest task.

I very much appreciated the effort Donna put into writing the history and was amused to see how consistent certain characters are over the years.

Surf Kline (a stone knight in the Olip Forest West)
*sigh* Ok, still another character I'm still a little emotional over. First time around playing Cantr (very short stint) I played a character Telmont, who was a prisoner of the Stone Knights. I knew I wanted another character back in that forest, and I was so excited when I had one spawn in an abandoned neighboring forest full of knight literature. I couldn't have made his spawning any better. He was surrounded by only Stone Knight literature, so after reading it all, he began his quest to find the knights. His initial meeting of them was actually kind of scary and he debated whether this was really what he wanted, but then he met Zoey who treated him with so much kindness, he stayed in that forest, eventually becoming an initiate to Truffles, and falling in love with her. Truffles was Surf's life, he patiently waited for the day the would be together, and it finally came. In game the Stone Knights have a terrible reputation, but if you don't have a character in that forest ... you're missing out on some amazing RP! Surf always had a bit of a strained relationship with Adrian which made things interesting. I need to tip my hat to some players that were involved in his life even just for shot stints (Rymke, Kyda, Charlie, Jordan, Daisy, Melody, Salara) that helped enhance his story.
You really made me cry with this one. My character felt lost knowing he had passed, and at times still does even if she doesn't show it. It was good interacting with you and you will be missed.
Oh look, another glorious morning… makes me SICK!

Re: The Dead Character Thread
Never wrote one after I left the game and I can't put my old chars to rests without doing so. So here goes nothing:
Poldora Melavanim - one of my strongest ladies. Broke away with Kall and started to build a town together. They were doing well. It would have been perfect if people had come along. I'm so sorry Kall, she loved you with all her heart even though they weren't the most affectionate of people together - they balanced each other out perfectly.
Corrine Hart - my gorgeous redhead. She ran 2 towns, had brilliant charisma but lost everyone she ever loved and could revive the town she was in even with trying as hard as she did.
Elora Monella Blackrock - I miss playing her so much. She loved Sal with every fibre of her being and I'm sorry for his loss of her. She misses him more. They had a lovely seaside cottage and could have lived so happily so I'm so sorry.
Peyton Whyte - the one who lived through it all - silent town, sister and boyfriend dying, pirate attack, learnt to love again but never reciprocated. An angry little cookie but I loved her. Sorry Trift for leaving you.
Ruby Cavell - my bipolar character. She was a super seamstress and tattoo artist but was very quiet. Watched her boyfriend change so much and came from the most humble beginnings with him - fire and mud huts. Sorry Frank and sorry Litta for leaving you guys. And Tru too if she woke to find out.
Sheldon Rose - loved to pieces, sad the party she was planning never apparated infront of her eyes. So sorry Kre.
Nola Kent - one of my favourites. The hardest to give up on. The one who has caused the most pain probably bar Ave. I'm so so sorry Larrs and Kinscem. She loved you both even though she would be explosive, impulsive and stubborn. She never finished her kitchen with Kinscem and I'm genuinely upset about that.
Fae Normis - loved her to pieces. She was fiery and went through more than enough. Spawned in the mountains whilst Mark of Zuzi was on a trade trip. Found her true home in a far away town but ended up sailing away with Ben. She was abandoned in Moku North and went through hell before deciding to spend her life making silk clothing. I doubt she will have been missed.
Ave Ashby - I didn't want to leave her. She was mentally unstable character with the best boyfriend in Cantr. A beautiful inn and a best friend who happened to be leader. I know one woman in San D who is probably happier now she's gone but I hope she was missed by Raaj and her other friends. I'm sorry Seth btw. You were her rock. I hope her inn goes to someone beautiful and who will love it as much.
Caris Reagan - her life will probably be forgotten quickly but she was my most outspoken character - the only female guard of Zuzi for a while and loved her role there but things were too dramatic in that city.
Callum Jamerson - lived his life for his true love Clara and couldn't live properly without her especially as her mind was positioned by another.
Jason Potter - probably won't be missed. I loved his sweetness but there wasn't a place for him really.
Amelia Lawson - the one deaf character I had. She was beautiful and Beckett took great care of her and made her feel so welcomed and without a disability. Sorry for the sudden death and in the car too.
Noelle Hill - I didn't really play her much as I was getting close to leave which was such a shame because I liked what I had planned for her.
Lavender Gold - the same as Noelle really.
Now for my fresh start in the game. I guess some who knew me before can try play spot the character if they wish. Some are very close to old characters loved ones - proximity wise.
