"Yes, yes, good wine!" said the MushBall, agreeing with the god of the forest, although by now his gurglings were so slured he could not be understood.
He then turned his attention from Erake too Yanisha, and danced with very happily, on top of very drunkenly.

(For Schme)
MushBall had underestimated the power of the wine, and collapsed down upon the ground. Yanisha knelt down and caressed his "head", kissing him softly. "There there now Mushy... just relax."
At that, MushBall passed out.
(There, now while I'm gone you'll have a good excuse to do nothing
I won't normally take control of a player character, but really, it's not me doing it, it's the wine

Makes sense to me. I was thinking that might happen myself. The best excuse, really.
Have fun while your away, if you can. I
It's eleven and something o'clock, I think, and so I had better be off or I will be late in meeting with someone.
Goodnight everyone. See you around, Fleegle.

Kitty turned to Erake and looked her over, "This Wine stuff, is tastes good in small amounts. But if you drink to much your mind goes all befuddled, like my good friend the MushBall over there, If I was you I would not drink too much of it.It seems to have even stranger effects on the Men to me or maybe the women are just smarter."
Finding it difficult to dance, Kitty starts looking around the interest for other things of interest. Finding nothing of interest in the clearing she looks further around and goes behind the back of the throne to see if there is anything there...
(sorry 'bout that there, hopefully thats okay)

Erake watched everything that was going on, with a confused look on her face. "Wine?" She didn't exactly know if she trusted these creatures just yet...Especially the one that had spoken to her first...The way he looked at her made her want to claw his face off for some reason. Ah, but there was nothing to hurt by trying the wine. She raised the glass to her lips and took a sip. "Mm...Not bad.." She looked at the other little creature that spoke to her. "What is it made of?" She also realized yet again, these creatures had failed to mention their names. Maybe they were just as boring as that other one. The one who lost his wings. Bah...he deserved what he got. She grinned and took another sip of the wine.

(Got up a little extra early this morning, so I thought I might write a little bit. MushBall is still passed out... this one will be for the benefit of Varrius and 3shyof30rats. Oh, and please disregard the shiny object in Varrius' last post. I did not mention any shiny objects in my posts.)
(For 3shyof30rats and Varrius)
Bassus stumbled as he danced, falling backwards onto his bottom. He gracelessly lifted himself onto his feet, laughing all the while. Suddenly he remembered that he had not introduced himself.
"Oh! Issorry... I fergot ta innaduce maselv... I'm Bassus!" he spat as he exclaimed his name. He went to grab Erake's hand so he might kiss it. As he did so, he loudly passed wind. The nymphs giggled and skipped away to the other side of the clearing. Bassus acted as if nothing had happened... indeed in his drunken state he didn't think anything had happened.
"These.... these are... the nymppsssh... Yanisssha... an Jilly-lilly-lilly... an.. heyyy, whassa... whass you all doin ovar thar..." Bassus zigzagged over towards the nymphs.

Audirda picks up the artifact she found and places it back in her net along with the oyster that Losom had given her. She smiles. "Thank you for your help." She turns swims out of the cave, waves to Dietris, Nioss, and Devrim and starts swimming north along the ocean floor, taking time to see the sights.

Tek looks at the old man inquisitively, He's going to tell me my fate? he thought. Well let's see what he has to say. He lifted a second limb to get a better look at the temple entrance, which looked a little on the narrow side to him, then, putting the second limb back down he raised himself up higher by pulling his limbs in narrower and then slowly waddled thought the entrance following Ilosep, briefly stopping to raise one of his rear limbs to focus on Ao to say, "Are you coming, Ao?"

Ao swivels his head to look at the old archway that the old man named Ilosep had mentioned. There was no way that the 5 foot rock man would have hit his head on it... although true his head was probably harder than the stone that the building was made of.
"Of course I'm coming, Tek, I'm right behind you." Ao plods along to keep up with Tek. "Now that I understand you, I've been wondering... I am of the earth and stone... but what are you?"

(Global statement)
The sun was now getting quite low in the sky. It would not be long until sunset. The clouds were definitely getting thicker now. An occasional cloud would come in across the sun, casting a dull shadow over the land.

The groff rustled, and the mighty Resuso rose up, towering over Beelzebub.
"Oh how wonderful! I finally get to meet the one everyone's been talking about! Oh, you are most splendid! I wish I had had the chance to look upon you when you had your wings! Yes, yes, I know all about that. People talk, people talk. I am Resuso, the god of food!"
Resuso weaved his slender form around, inspecting Beelzebub from several angles. "Yes, most wonderful! Well then, you are welcome to eat as much groff as you like... that is what we call this crop. It will taste like anything you desire, though I understand you like to eat the flesh. That is fine, I too like to indulge in the occasional creature. Why just the other day I had the most delicious toad! If you wish, I could make the groff taste like it, if you wanted to get some idea of the wonderful taste! Unfortunately the groff won't mimick the texture..."
Resuso trailed off. "I'm afraid the other splendid creatures around here - and several of the gods - have taken a dislike to you. However, you have done nothing to offend me, so you may call me friend if you so desire."

"That is an interesting question Ao, I am not sure what I am, but the one thing I can tell you is that since emerging from that muck I have had a growing urge to climb something, to be up off the ground, perhaps when I can do this I will have a better understanding of my place in the world" With that he lowered the limb and continued to follow Ilosep.

I stand there and I don't move as Resuso speaks.
"I like these words, the first God with good sense" I smirk
"Yes the loss of my wings is very unfortunate, filthy Garob. I would have eaten him like I ate that cat God but he smelled worse than the Tagus cave."
I look at the tall grass and pick a single one and bite it. "Suprising that a grass can taste like flesh. Not very sustainable"
"I'll need the real thing"
I shrug and my wing stubs move. "Curse that dirty little one"

(Sorry for my delay)
Briker had already been to the temple, so he allowed the others to leave without him. However he was very eager to explore this new world, as he now could be able to talk with his mind, and was feeling very adventerous (sp?) despite his miniscule size.
He was also way to small to notice anything that was going on, and so he decided to head towards the trees.
(Again, sorry for taking so long)

Audirda eventually reached the mouth of the river. Sure enough, there were several more artefacts to be found here, though most of them looked much too heavy to be lifted. Some large stone pillars lay upon the seabed among the rubble that might once have been walls or ceilings. There seemed to be less sea-life here, perhaps because of the turbulence in the water where the river ran into the ocean. Audirda could sense movement in the water. Above her, she noticed that something near the surface was moving. She could make out two skinny legs propelling a pink-skinned creature along. It did not seem to swim nearly as well as any of the other undersea creatures she had met thus far.
The creature was swimming away from her, and didn't seem to have noticed her. It got closer to the edge of the water and lifted itself out. Likely a creature of the land.
Audirda was now alone, with the exception of a few little elongated fish, no bigger than a finger. A ribbon of large rocks, interspersed with broken stone architecture, bore the truth of what had happened to the Old Ones. A large, empty area sat just north, closest to the river mouth. Audirda could see something sticking out of the soft sand in the middle of this area. From this distance she could not make out what it was, though it seemed very shiny.
