There is current development work being done by ProgD to make coins stackable (and still be objects)

Sorry, didn't realize this. I thought they'd still be "5 iron coins, ´Oink!´".
But yay for stackable coin objects! Solves the problem. :)

A seperate inventory for coins. Events, Inventory, Coinbag, Location and so on... Are coins stackable?

In fact the code to stack coins in inventories and objects pages has been written and works in the test environment and was very straight forward . What poses more of a problem are the following

1) The Langauge interface (coins are now the only objects which we require a singular and plural form)

2) Transfer of multiples of coins needs writting (currently the stacks can be transfered/dropped/ picked up/pulled only 1 coin at a time)

Neither of these are insurmountable
