Yes, Cantr does have a sun, it is very clear to anyone that owns a peice of clothing called glittering embroided bracers.

I prefer to think that one who wears the bracers is quite literally "enlightened" and the sun simply never ceases to shine on them.

There's more than enough space in the game to play fully-realized, developed characters WITHOUT resorting to obvious OOC banter, including claiming you're an emperor from another planet. There is no body of literature or science in cantr to justify even your character's ability to make such a claim.

So ... this being from a PD aspirant ... does that mean what he's doing is actually wrong and he has been or needs to be contacted? I notice he's shut up, which is just as good, but it'd also be good to know the matter has been looked into.

I can't speak for the department as a whole but yes, I believe it's wrong and it has been frowned upon in the past, very explicitly by people up to and including Jos himself.

This type of ic story is frowned upon. However, as Wichita has said, other characters are most likely to think of them as insane, or ignore them completely. (Okay, so some might actually believe the story, but that's their perogative This belief should be kept as private as possible, imo.)

From a PD perspective, it's a fine line, as Julie2 has indicated. Spaceships and aliens should not be used, as these concepts are beyond the comprehension of Cantrians.

Being brought forth into the world from a uterus is just plain ludicrous (from a Cantrians perspective), though as other body parts are assumed to exist, I don't see why not a uterus. Cantrians just wouldn't know it's purpose, as they are all spawned, not born.

That someone claims to be descended from anything is also ludicrous, and a concept unknown to Cantrians. Yes, the fellow is clearly insane. A CR breach? Borderline, but not serious. The biggest being the mention of "planets", which is not something that is normally assumed to exist beyond the Cantr realm.

Please don't do that. Yes, it glitters in the sunlight, but that doesn't mean the sunlight is on it all of the time.

"shimmering" is in the present tense. So you can look at it anytime, and see the sun shimmering off of it. People are awake at different hours of the day, what with our players being from all around the world.

I say Cantr has no night.

But using the word Night to signify the later stages of the day and the transition to a new day should be perfectly acceptable.

If you read this properly the man doesn't claim to be descended from anyone or from another planet. He says his title comes from generations of rulers... a generation is an age group... a group that has grown up in a certain time.. (e.g. the 60's generation or the 90's generation) Also he says his kingdon doesn't exist on this planet... that only says that he believes Cantr is a planet and his kingdon doesn't exist on it... not that is exists somewhere else. I think his only OOC thoughts here are the word "born" rather than spawned and the word "planet". Minor to me.

I persoanlly think that people talking to him are reading into what he's saying with human, not Cantrian ears and minds. Oh and BTW... aliens are just someone that doesn't belong in the area... a person in Cantr city might be from Kiriin and be considered an alien, it's another word for immigrant in a lot of places on earth... why not on Cantr, they use our language.

Although this is entirely unimportant in my opnion, I just thought I'd point out that the young women also in a(technical) way, made a CR Breech.

Does anyone remember in the movie "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" when King Arthur happens upon the democratically ruled fiefdom, and after having told the inhabitants that he is King because the lady of the lake gave him Excalibur, they become angry, and one says "That makes no sense at all. If I went around saying I was an emperor, just because some wet broad lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away."

I find it rather strange that even though this guy has left the town in question, this person who goes by the handle agar is still trying to get him in trouble. I quote:
