General Question

I am (marginally) okay with lifting a character's name from fiction or real life; I've done it myself.

But to lift an entire persona whole-cloth just strikes me as terribly unoriginal and uninteresting.

One of the things I like about the in-game Austin Powers is that other than one or two "yeah baby yeahs" 30-some years ago, he's been completely his own character...with a definite personality totally other than the Mike Myers character. I appreciate that a lot. I actually don't even associate the two anymore. If anything, the game one is the one I think of first if the name is mentioned.

The The Society of Jesus(Jesuit Order) was founded by St. Ignatius of Loyola in 1540. I believe the Three Musketeers was set some time after this event. Perhaps the musketeer in questing created a secret order of Jesuits.

It is a Capital Rule breach to introduce real life religions into Cantr. Religion is fine, but it must be original.
