I have about 7 or 8 chars that'll be 30 within the next year or two...

if my first few characters were still alive they'd be in their late 40s...I started 'round about the same time Nick started with his first accounts.

Mine are only 27, my most favorite and powerful (which isn't really that powerful at all) is going to be 28 by 780.

I had one character that was almost 55 but he died recently. I have a few in their fourties and several in their thirties.

Too lazy to quote
I do think characters in their thirties do get more respect. Especially since younger characters know that the older ones have weapons and friends. I know all my young in their twenties chars would never have challenged a thirty year old way back when.

Agreed. When you see someone in their thirties you can usually (note: "usually") assume that they're stable enough not to have gotten killed in the first 200 days of their life. People find reassurance in that thought, justified or not.

Yeah well it indicates an experienced player behind the char... :)

The opposite side of that usually is that they have great weapons and kill every sapling within sight they may be considered a threat.

Never trust anyone over 30. :)

anyone in their 40s or up has to have had alot of back up or know who not to push to survive that long...leaders of cities in their 40s and 50s have to make sure the citizens are at least partially pleased with the way the town is run *blinks* what im tryin to say is anyone that old is smart, some people in their 30s are just lucky to live that long

My three oldest are 47, and I have 4 that will be turning that magic number 30 very soon. And as that implies I also think that anyone in their thirties or over has certain "advantages" over the younger crowd.

I've noticed recently with my new chars that no matter what it takes 7-10 years to really get a char going.

Yeah, it's always takes a long time. But at a certain age it's like, poof, and all of the sudden stuff starts happening.
