# a thick band of iron with a little ornamentation encircles the wearer`s head

# a silk jacket with long sleeves hangs to the wearer’s waist and attracts the eyes with its brilliant sheen

# a silk garment that is draped over the neck once, the ends of which then cross across the chest creating an X pattern over the wearer`s torso. The remainder of the cloth is pulled towards the small of the back and tied

# a pair of leather pants which hug close to the skin, leaving little to the imagination

# a pair of finely woven silk gloves extend from the fingertips to above the elbow, lending an air of elegance to the wearer

# a pair of delicate silk slippers embellished with embroidery hug the wearer’s feet

# a pair of sheer silk leg coverings extending from the waist down to the tips of the toes. They cling to the skin and leave little of the body’s contours to the imagination

# an ankle length garment with the overall shape of a skirt wrapped about the waist once, yet accompanied by a softly spun extension of silk that is worn over the wearer’s left or right shoulder. The remainder of the draped cloth lands about the forearm and the crook of one`s elbow, creating an elegant sweep of finely spun silk that dangles just above the knee

# a sheer veil of silk hangs before the wearer’s face, held in place by the thinnest cord of silk around the head

# pieces of tortoiseshell dangling from smoothed bones pierce each earlobe

# a thick piece of smooth iron that wraps around one wrist

# a long thin scarf of fluffy feathers is worn loosely around the wearer`s neck

# a skirt of finely cut silk fabric flows elegantly over the hips and hangs below the wearer`s knees

Lets see now..

Wears:
Knit wool robe.
Great kilt.
Wool leggings.

Wants:
crocodile leather boots (or wooden clogs)
top hat (or tortoiseshell hard hat).
leather eye patch.
snakeskin gloves.
Knit wool scarf.

Thinking is some kind of mix of Samuel L Jackson in '51st state', Daniel Day Lewis in 'Gangs of New York' with some random cowboy and pirate thrown in. 8)

Personally, the best character-image I have in my mind is described in-game thusly:

He is in his fourties. He wears:

a large-brimmed hat, covered in finely scaled snakeskin over leather and adorned with leather tassels, which shades the eyes

a pair of leather pants which hug close to the skin, leaving little to the imagination

pieces of tortoiseshell dangling from smoothed bones pierce each earlobe

a bracelet of carefully selected bones, strung on a length of sinew

a thick band of polished tortoiseshell around one finger

an array of smoothed down bone pieces threaded on a length of sinew that`s worn around the neck

a simple vest made of leather. It covers the chest and is slightly open in the front

She wears:

* crown of roses: a crown of loosely woven rose flowers. The red and pink soft flowers encircle the wearer's head sensuously
* snakeskin necklace: a narrow band of snakeskin braided with a strip of leather about the neck
* silk sari: an ankle length garment with the overall shape of a skirt wrapped about the waist once, yet accompanied by a softly spun extension of silk that is worn over the wearer's left or right shoulder. The remainder of the draped cloth lands about the forearm and the crook of one's elbow, creating an elegant sweep of finely spun silk that dangles just above the knee
* silver chitin bracelet: a stylish bracelet of smoothed down chitin squares joined together with wire and edged with shining silver cord
* silk slippers: a pair of delicate silk slippers embellished with embroidery hug the wearer's feet

Resurrecting an old thread! :P

Saw this one the other day and really liked it.

* brimmed leather hat: a wide-brimmed hat made of tough, dark leather with a glossy surface
* leather eyepatch: a patch of sturdy leather covers one eye, with a thin band of leather encircling the head to keep it in place
* ivory pendant: an intricately carved ivory pendant hanging from a fine string around the neck
* leather longcoat: a close-fitting, full length leather surcoat, featuring a row of tiny metal buttons countered by strong loops of leather. Its hem flows magnificently with the slightest movement. The high collar and shoulders accented by thick epaulettes bestow an air of strength upon the wearer
* leather vest: a simple vest made of leather, which covers the chest and is slightly open in the front
* riveted leather belt: a sturdy belt made of tough, darkened leather decorated with two rows of gleaming steel studs
* fringed leather pullover: a lightweight leather pullover with lace-up chest and a small collar. The arms, back and shoulders are decorated by a long fringe
* decorated leather bracers: a pair of thick leather bracers, perforated with a decorative pattern
* leather pants: a pair of leather pants which hug close to the skin, leaving little to the imagination
* knit cotton socks: a pair of loose-fitting cotton socks, ribbed around ankle to keep them from falling off
* reinforced boots: sturdy, padded leather boots, buckled nearly to the knee, reinforced with metal plates over the shins

Wow! I hope it's not hot where that character lives!

She wears:

fur hat: a hat of carefully cleaned fur which covers the head well and looks warm [undress]
leather eyepatch: a patch of sturdy leather covers one eye, with a thin band of leather encircling the head to keep it in place [undress]
feather earrings: carefully chosen feathers dangling from iron hoops that pierce the ears [undress]
silk jacket: a silk jacket with long sleeves hangs to the wearer's waist and attracts the eyes with its brilliant sheen [undress]
leather corset: a garment specifically crafted for the torso and upper waist. It encompasses the midsection in a figure trimming funnel of ribbed leather and closes in the back tightly with leather laces. The front is rigid with leather-wrapped bone and the entirety well sewn [undress]
decorated leather bracers: a pair of thick leather bracers, perforated with a decorative pattern [undress]
bone ring: a small piece of bone carved into a ring to fit smoothly around a finger [undress]
snakeskin skirt: a thigh-length skirt of shiny finely-scaled snakeskin, slit up one side to reveal a generous amount of thigh [undress]
thigh length boots: a pair of thigh high leather boots with stiletto heels and metal buckles down the sides, guaranteed to turn heads [undress]
[inventory]
You can see her holding:

an old harmonica
a used iron shield
a new scimitar

I think she's my favourite. A sixty-one year old ex-hooker. Charming, I know.
And all that is now
And all that is gone
And all that's to come
And everything under the sun is in tune
But the sun is eclipsed by the moon.

I had a char who was working toward a Lady Gaga inspired outfit. Alas, she died before finishing her thigh length boots. She had the fur bikini briefs, leather jacket and leather gloves. I hadn't decided on an outlandish hat yet - maybe the feather headdress, top hat, or plumed hat.

Plumed would have been great :P And maybe some tortoiseshell glasses or something....I once had a char with those...I want her back just for the glasses sometimes.

I don't think you can use gem lenses for eyeglasses, unfortunately. It's the mechanics...
