I stay away from most drugs because I know that I personally have a very addictive personality (as in I can get addicted to things very easily), and I have seen enough cases of drug (and alcohol) abuse in my life to know that I do not want to end up like that. That said, I like my caffeine, and I occasionally drink (never enough to get drunk, I am just a social drinker). Even more then "Trainspotting", the drug related movie that really blew me away was "Requiem for a Dream" (same director as "Pi") and it is a movie that is amazing and is a must watch for everyone (even my druggie friends really loved it).

I feel reassured by some of your comments that the whole world has not gone crazy.

Nowhere special. Roads are paved, though.

It sure is making me appreciate the sleepy dirt roads I used to toke up and drink on.

Not that the exact same thing cannot happen in a smaller place.

I can only imagine.

I say again, I would like weed legalized. Not for any medical reasons, as quite frankly, everyone who wants it legalized (at least in Canada) does not want to for medical reasons. I do not like it when people use that sorry excuse for an argument. To be truthful, if they would just say honestly that they would like to toke up, I would be happier. The reasons being, in a nutshell, that it is not that bad a drug, it is nothing you cannot do to yourself anyway, we spend to much money dealing with stoners, aswell as the pushers and growers. On top of that, the money feeds organized criminals, and people fight over the market. But I digress. I just want it legalized to the level of ciggarretes and alchohol, is all.

I never said anything about gateway drugs or it killing you or whatever. It's all there.

You could say I had a bit of a drinking problem. I drank all through my highschool years and just recently quit. I've been going to AA meetings for about three weeks now.

What made me quit? I almost took out a family taking a walk right around sunset.

I used to drink too, some time back, until I realised I was being foolish.

Is hard, eh?

Yeah, it's hard to quit. But being underage helps :)

I just deleted my contacts number, then hung out with old highschool friends again. Nothin like good buddies :)

Good for you, Yo. Stick with AA. I'm enjoying your posts much more lately and also I don't want you to spend the rest of your life in prison for vehicular manslaughter. I doubt you would get to play much Cantr there.

:D <= smile of sobriety encouragement.
