Just because you're older, smarter, stronger, more talented... doesn't mean you're BETTER.

I drank as a minor. Of course, in the good old US of A I would still be considered too young to drink.
Anyway, I still refuse to take a test which has no option to represent me.

I drank when I was 13. I drank when I was 1 1/2. I don't think there is a right or wrong age to start drinking, so long as you don't drink out of peer pressure, because that's just sad. So is drinking a lot by yourself. It's okay to start drinkning early in the day as long as you plan on drinking all day long.

I think the thing with being 21 is because of a medical reason... something about your liver not really being able to handle processing alcohol until you're in your early 20's or so... It's not that you can't mentally handle drinking at 16 or 18, but your liver's not developed enough for it... At least that's what I've heard... I don't know that it's 100% correct.
I drank a couple of times when I was a minor, at New Years, ect.. Only got a friend to buy me some once about two years ago... Then I was of age and able to buy my own.. I still don't drink often, but I like to once in awhile... There's always some rum or vodka in my cabinets

Well my opinion is, If you're old enough to go fight and possibly die for your country, then you should be old enough to drink beer.
Also, I use to be quite the alcoholic (go highschool football team
). But since then I have cut down alot. Thats not to say that I still don't drink, I just don't go through a keg a weekend.
But back to the topic of ages on drinking, I started when I got on the eight grade football team. I'm still two years from drinking legally, but then it'll be boring

There's a time when drinking itself, while fun, is less fun than the events that occur while drinking. I don't mean seeing pink elephants or doing crazy jackass stuff, just like, loosening up and talking, having a cool party. Alcohol is a social art. Wine selection, brewing, cocktail mixing, all rich with culinary and aesthetic value. Pouring someone the perfect martini is special because it isn't just a great tasting and beautiful drink, it augments the events that follow, and, if used responsibly, will result in happy memories that could last a lifetime.
