# The main character in a drama or other literary work.
# In ancient Greek drama, the first actor to engage in dialogue with the chorus, in later dramas playing the main character and some minor characters as well.
#
1. A leading or principal figure.
2. The leader of a cause; a champion.
# Usage Problem. A proponent; an advocate
Based on that: I'm still none the wiser as to what Yo-Yo actually meant with his post.

I'm watchinmg somebody repair a longbow, right now. Leaving aside the fact the longbow sees to have turned into a garment ( no doubt due to the bugs ), it looks like taking about 5 days. I can make a brand-new one slightly faster than that (Yes, even including gathering the wood and making a new bow- string). So what's the point?

Juile2: Aside from the fact that the current repair times may be adjusted
not everyone would be in a location where the right materials and possibly the right tools were available to make a longbow.
Character will just have to judge whether or not is economical to make a new one or repair an existing one.

Nope, that doesn't really answer it. One BIG problem is that some items decay so fast that the're not worth making in the first place.* That hasn't been adjusted, just various re-sets implemented, pending repairs being implemented. If repairs take anything vaguely approaching the time it took to make those items, we're still left with that problem, and item repair doesn't solve it at all.
*Example- you make a shovel to dig limestone with (which might well take a whole year, depending on your access to iron. Its going to take a good many days at least), but then it's a year's journety to the limestone. You dig forabout seven days, then your pack is full, and it's time to go back. The shovel decays to the point where you need to repair it before you ever get to do your second resource run- but at that rate, the tool still hasn't paid for itself Onreof my characters has been in this position- even worse, she got to the limestone just at the time when the tiredness bug made the tool vitrtualy useless anyway. So now- does she trouble to repair the damned thing or doesn't she? As things stand right now, she won't, becase she'll never make it pay for itself, short of relocating to somewhere closer to the limestone. The resets gave her hope that she hadn't acquired a white elephant, the repairs don't.

It's not all it's cracked up to be.
Trust me, I killed the first one.
ME. KILLED. ELEPHANT.
"and all I got was __g ivory"
side note--apparently elephants in cantr are smaller than buffalo, although far tougher...I think I got fewer bones/meat/hide/ivory for them than I would have for a buffalo (minus the ivory), doing about 4 times as much shootin'.

Write an e-mail to resources. They can always change things if they are made aware of things like this.
