The sound of a chair scraping on wood can be heard from the upstairs window of Alex's shop. Not long after, his front door opens and he walks towards the people outside the inn.

Stopping besides Mr. Slayer, he turns to him with a scowl.

"She hasn't been wearing those clothes since last night... ...asshole."

He walks further, stopping by Mikki. He stares at her for several seconds, then turns and points at Spider.

"You have a lot of nerve. No... you have more than that. You are something else entirely. You're supposed to be a man of the law, you're supposed to be helping to protect us from two murderers!"

Alex takes a few strides towards him.

"You're supposed to be getting facts that can save people's lives! We're in this village, going crazy... and all you're thinking about is who you can f--- next?! You're no policeman. You're no savior, no detective. You, Spider, are the problem!"

He turns to Mortaine

"He doesn't have anything to say. He's a waste of our time... leading us astray."

Look Yes I drew it on him. But I also went back inside to change into something I could fight in. So I took it in with me so there would beno need to draw it and it would be safe. Apparently people don't know how to keep out of another person belongings.

Well, mikki, if this makes you feel any better, Spider hit on me too... He wanted to sleep with me, but I said no, of course!!

She turns to look at Spider It is true that you are a bad cop, but no she shakes her head you're not the only problem here...

I need to find someone whom I can trust... I wish Surly was still alive, he was the only one I trusted amongst you all... No offense!

She goes and sits in a corner by herself

He finally manages to stand up but is still leaning against the wall. He turns and glares at Spider

What? This is what you've been doing instead of trying to solve these murders. Trying to get laid! You better have a damn good explanation for this.

He looks around making sure everyone is okay after the fight.

Well I see no one is need of a doctor right now. Most people are more interested in causing destruction anyway, but of course I will always be there to clean up and make sure no more unwanted deaths occur. Please, let's not keep harming each other. My supplies are running low as it is.

I agree with Mr. Nixit. Sheriff Spider may be a complete idiot, but he is no murderer...

I do think we should began to try and figure out who is doing this. shakes her head All this is becoming ridiculous.

So Sheriff Spider...do you at least have any leads?

she looks over at Dee, shocked. she turns her looks at Sparkle The only leads he has is that Dee and I won't sleep with him. sighs and then walks to the stairs on her porch

*suddenly remembers the tea in the inn, and curses under his breath* I forgot about that... *quickly rushes in and almost immediately returns with a tray of tea, balancing it steadily on his hand and sets it down on a table near the inn* There you go Mr. Wichita, sorry to keep you waiting.

*sits down at the table, and pours two cupfulls of tea, muttering the whole time* ...that was bad service, bad service... not good for customers, nor anybody else... bad service...

I should think that you would understand, Mr Dragonslayer, that that cane was a very dangerous weapon, with a very sharp blade.. Kinda like the ones used in the murders huh? maybe it would be better that you dont get it back, to relieve you of suspicion huh? besides... doesent look like your going to get any charges against me, and who know, maybe you wont be alive to enjoy your riches tommorow huh? try to be a little less materialistic for once maybe?

Well... I can say for one that from a medical perspective the marks made to Yoyo on the first night could never have been made with Dragonslayer's cane. It would be much too hard to carve letters into human flesh using anything other than a knife. A rather sharp one at that. I am not saying that this relieves Dragonslayer of all suspicion I am just mentioning that just because Dragonslayer has a weapon does not mean he is guilty of murder. Rainking have you sold any blades or knives to anyone around town recently? You are the blacksmith after all.
