Am I in breach?
Ok... I'm your basic newbie, so I need some help here.
I started a character earlier (I believe last week) and, seeing how he was my first character, proceeded to go anywhere and grab anything I could find. Sorry, I was stupid lol.
Anyway... as I left a town, someone approached me and ordered me to stop... long story short, they questioned me and I lied to them about numerous things, including my name. More recently, I decided to create an additional character, and used the name that I had given the person who stopped me as the character name. Would this be considered a breach, or could this simply be passed off as coincidence?

When I first started playing I thought it would be nifty to give all my chars the same last name. I didn't understand what a stupid, stupid idea this was. I also got a little message from PD asking if I was trying to form a gang for cheating purposes. I wound up changing almost all of their names but it made for some sticky situations.
My point is, I think it's best to have really clear distinctions between your char names. It helps me to not get them confused when I'm tired or in a hurry. This doesn't apply to your situation that much, just some advice.
I don't think you have committed a breach but it's probably not too late to change your second chars name if you want to. People do it all the time and just explain, in character, that they didn't like their other name or some such reason.
And please, for the love of God, don't name them after cartoon characters or any other familiar name. Open up a phone book and choose something or whatever but be a little creative. I'm not too proud to beg about this.

Yeah, I did almost the same thing kinvoya did. I gave my characters the same last names and made one a King, one a Queen, and one a Princess. *laughs* You do silly things when you are new.
Yeah, but I would advise against it. What you did was not a breach cause you don't know the other character.
In my case and kinvoya, that could be bad and turn into a breach so I strongly recommend that it isn't done.

a day without cantr, is a day spent in bed convulsing and suffering from withdrawl

Well not only do you guys say that wouldn't be a breach, but I went back and read the log (the character who gave that false name was executed lol)... and I had given them the same FIRST name, not last name, so I guess I can get away with this lol.
I do appreciate all of your help though! Nice to see a game online where newbs don't have things thrown at them for asking questions in the forum LOL.

n00b!!! n00b!!!

Anyway, there is little wrong with you using the same first name twice. It can only confuse you while rp'ing. Anyway, first names often occur more then once in Cantr, i.r. Ben, Jack and John.
