Cancelling Burying Projects

Postby Solfius » Mon Nov 03, 2003 5:53 pm

I think it would be nice to be able to cancel burying projects that have had no work done on them and return it to a body on the objects page.

Just a little novelty thing I'd like to see.

I like that idea. Once someone is being buried, you can no longer identify them. This way, you could check the bodies to see if you recognize them.

Does burying bodies remove pressure from the Cantr server?

It would also be nice to bury the "unknown bodies" instead of having them sit in the open for eternity. Just because they are a little rotted doesn;t mean they still can't be buried properly.

Yes, I like this idea.
It is not only a novelty thing...if someone dies people may want to be able to show his body as evidence...but now there is a big chance that someone starts a burying project.

Eventually I would like the possibility to dig up the ones that have been properly buried to.

well, if you want to put them all together then you'll have to dig up Burt Longly and Sarah Bell Salsgiver as well, and Draveth Moore, and maybe a few others as well

Maybe this is a way we could impliment digging up bodies.
Perhaps once someone who tries to cancel a burying project that isn't being worked on it could create a new project. A "Digging up Body" Project.
The reason I say they would cancel a project not being worked on is because if there was someone burying the body and another digging it up, they wouldn't get anywhere (no % progress) Because we can make them take the same amount of time to perform...
Just a thought

Who says Cantrians rot?

But anyway, I think I mentioned this in the cremation thread in GD. I really think it should be implemented...

I had records that named him.

But that was two years ago, just after I joined.

And he was already 2 months dead...

Damn old-timers...
