Does Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles count as science fiction?

If so does also all the cool superheroes from the comic books also count as science fiction? Maybe I should start a poll to see what super hero everyone likes.

No, I'd say comic book characters would be in their own category, namely comic books.

You people still read comic books? I have never, nor will I ever, read one. Although, I do watch cartoons. But no comic books. Ever. Period.

I don't sink low enough to read comic books, and I never have done. I found watching the TV cartoons based upon them, when I was younger, that after a while they various series lost their appeal as they ran out of ideas and starting getting more and more ridiculous.

I've never watched any on TV that were based on a comic book--I prefer Spongebob and the Fairly Oddparents.

Each to their own....I personally like The Simpsons. You can't beat a bit of Homer every night (that one is just waiting for a comment).

How can you say X-Men or any of the other great comics are bad? They are great. And I'm happy they're making them into movies. I don't think the plots for the comics ever got bad. It was the tv shows that got bad. The comics usually had all the violence, swearing, and all the other adult themes which they had to cut out for the children's shows. I'm glad they didn't do it for the movies. Spiderman was great, haven't seen the Hulk, Daredevil was pretty good, and the two X-Men movies are great as well.

And Wolverines Rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!(Note he is my avatar)

Weren't the ninja turtles popular in the 80's? Are they even still around?
