If he deletes the post completely, it doesn't count. If he edits it, it remains as a post in the count.

Let me test. By posting this, I would become 1708 posts. I will then post once more, and give you the results.

Ahh, you are indeed correct, my post count dropped back to 1708.
Now, the question is, what is someone else posts after your post, and a moderator (Or, yourself, if you are a moderator) deletes the post. Does that bring your count down? I don't believe so.

On basically every forum I've been at ...(okay not that many) that is the case. If the mod deletes your post/ it detracts from your forum post count.
