Help me understand

Okay, do the masks make it so you are unidentifiable? And if they do, do they erase your name for anyone that has already saved your name? I could see how the cotton headwrap (or what ever its called) could easily conceal your identity. Just wondering.

Nope. They don't do anything but show up on the character's description like regular clothing.

That depends how people reply. I personally think such items clothing should obsure identity to some extent (not sure how) - but they don't.

Therefore I question their purpose. Maybe a status symbol. :?

Anything from roleplay, a constant currency amount (for it doesn't fall apart) and of course, the social status.

... but just think if they did conceal identity! It would add an whole other perspective to crime! We could eventully move into an well organised era of organised crime! Someone robs a bank, but you can't identify them, only to reveal its a person you've known all your life! Quite interesting if you ask me.

Then enlighten me? I think it would be as good an implimentation as any other useless ... well implimentation. And if its such a bad thing, explain it to me.

I think it's a poor use of our resources as of now, anyways.

Especially considering the game mechanics as of now, everything is based on identification (through I assume, visualization) and you can't really judge by the sound of the voice, other visual resemblances and things as you can in real life. It would greatly throw off the balance of the game. I don't mind implementing weapon concealing under cloaks, but this idea (which has been mentioned before) would not be good for the game, considering its current situation where people can ID one basically only from their name (and it takes too long to ID them with their) clothes, which they can too easily undress and change, in front of everybody.

I'm just saying it would make the game as realistc as you people evedently wanted it. I jst don't even see the point of masks if you cant use them for what they are suppose to do.

Point is, I wanna be able to rob a place in broad daylight, escape somehow and lve a town away, all the while never being suspected. Thats the point.
