Alexa was the first character to make any impression on me, which is an odd thing for me, so I guess you made an impression as that works out better for me.
Though you did quite the U-turn with her after that little incident over the key for the car & then there was blood letting but it all worked out because there was a reset & the guy you were arguing with died. Just I can't remember him.
Brad still doesn't really trust you, though he keeps it to himself perfectly.

Eww I hate those types of people.
And I really sorry for those who were close to Kahlan and Yoh. But to me they weren't too involved and better them then someone like say Starfire (which not to long ago was pretty tempting to do) or Dragon Slayer.

I am the Dragon Slayer. And as long as I have my friends behind me. I will never fall.

To clarify, Brad should like Alexa! I don't know what your talking about not trusting her. Alexa has always liked Brad and thinks he's very clever and interesting and has always been really nice to him. He's the one who's acted like a weirdo, and she has never even questioned him for his bizarre actions, just accepts him for who he is. And.. talks really good about him on the occasions his name has been mentioned.
Now me, Chrissy Spencer, I can understand you not liking, lol. It's my fault, I was obscenely rude to you one day on the forum, I was being an ass, and since I haven't shown you many other sides of my personality, I can understand how'd you'd think I'm an ass. I get like that when my backs against the wall. You said something mildly, mildly, rude, and I freaked out. Sorry about that.
Though you did quite the U-turn with her after that little incident over the key for the car.
I can understand how it may have looked like that. Turmoil was building before that point . But what you saw is definatly accurate, that was the last fight. Alexa's husband died, that's why she has those things. Not because I aspired her to have anything. She's given away Rakers. No U-turns, it's been a straight path. If it looks like that then I need to roleplay her story better.

Like Alexa! She nearly killed me before the reset, handing out weapons like there was no tommorrow. In the event there was no tommorrow but memories are memories & Brad never forgets. True he has been incredibly odd in his time, it's tough being such an awesome guy though! He did notice that Alexa always looked out for him but don't forget he got hauled off in to a building & accused of all sorts.
Still, I don't think you yourself have ever said anything to me that was abusive, still I don't have a good memory in which case forget it & embrace the wonderfull me that is Brad.

Hiya,
I'm new to Cantr, (well, I've already got five characters already though) and this is my first post in this forum, so I haven't recognised many names . OK , only read about 13pages, though. Slow connection. Turning pages is tedious. Might have missed out the startlingly familiar ones)
The question that interested me, here, was : how many people play chars of both genders? Most people, it seems. like I expected.
It follows then there's a pretty good chance that "he" is played by a "she" and vice-versa. Right? .
Maybe people don't identify with their characters that much, but I can't help wonderinbg how players would feel if they turned out to be getting really close to the "wrong" gender (as compared to IRL preferences). I mean marrying, for example, or er, having somewhat graphic private conversations (as I suspect some do. Though they probably shouldn't, come to think)
Nah, I don't have a problem with this. I'm just curious. Any answers?
I suppose I should post one or two of my characters. But I'll give them a
bit longer to develop first, if nobody minds. They're all female so far, in case you're wondering, and not especialy romantically disposed, i.e. this really is an academic question. But darned interesting. (Well, I think so anyway).

Personally, it bothers me a great deal, getting down and dirty with a woman character that has a man at the keyboard. Not because there's a guy at the other end, I don't care about that (Because to me, it's just role play, it's not actual... sex or anything, so it shouldn't matter who it is.) - But it's the fact that a man plays a woman character so damn well that worries and turns me off, lmao.

Aye, Julie, he is alive and kicking and trading and jotting and calculating and experiencing and collecting and eating and hearing and talking and admiring and learning and writing and drawing and thinking and reading...I think you get the point.
Latest Edition is 1050, found in Dorian.
