You played Maoliosa? Shame she died :/

In the end she made some bad decisions and just could not face the people of Kirinn, knowing how dissapointed they would be, especially John

Re: The Dead Character Thread
I played Suki Conelly. I didn't want to post about her death until it was discovered ingame, which I have been informed has happened. She drank poison because she had arthritis and she could no longer live with it anymore. She didn't want to wait until she would be completely crippled by it. Back when she was spawned, I though it was a selfish move to say "I just want to make dolls and nothing else" but it worked. As a young person she felt like she was entitled to everything and she never endured any hardships until she got the arthritis. It totally changed her personality from a bubbly talkative little girl to a moody goth teen.

You are a constant reminder and shining light that RP is more than describing your surroundings in a nice, flashy way. I always just seem to forget that a character is as real and fleshed out as you want them to be, and the only limitation is your mind. I'm just reminded of another character you had who broke their leg or lost a leg or something, I can't remember now, and then your Suki character having arthritis. I remember telling myself I should play a character like you, slowly drawing out the weakness or defect... but I forgot.

Bye Suki, I can't say I'm surprised to see her go. Her physical and emotional deterioration has been evident for as long as my character knew her. A tragic ending seems like the only fitting sort.

As far as I can remember, I have never had a character lose a limb. Maybe you're mixing it up with Marble Forsythe, who wasn't my character but the person who amputated his foot was. That was some great rp. Sometimes people need to be willing to let their characters get hurt if it fits the story. Then I also had Pessi who was paralyzed from waist down due to spina bifida. That was an interesting experiment too.

Wasn't Blake yours? He had a leg injury if I'm not mistaken.
Suki was interesting. I didn't see the arthritis thing play out. When my characters last saw her she was fine. You always give your characters interesting deaths though so I'm not surprised to hear it was a unique death.
Marble was mine. He was a bit of an anti-villain and a lot of fun to play for a good year or more. I only regret not giving him a better death (he died of depression induced starvation). It's a challenge to find good ways to end a character's life when the time comes. It's easier when they're old because you can RP it however you'd like before dying of old age. But before that you're kind of stuck with starvation, self inflicted wounds, poison or throwing yourself in front of wolves/bears without a shield.

Yeah, Blake got mauled by a dire wolf and two bears, so it severed one of his hamstrings and caused deep lacerations on both of his legs. He got surgery done in Xendra and learned to walk again.
As for Suki, she was very good at keeping the arthritis a secret. She only told Cora and Aros. Other than that it was only detectable from her custom description.

That also reminds me of the lead-up to Coventina's death, whereby she gave plenty of hints but if you weren't paying attention you'd pass them off simply as odd behaviour. Of course, once it happens, it all adds up.

Re: The Dead Character Thread
Okay, so now that it's been available, and sadly official and I do apologize to everyone.
This was never meant to happen...guess that's what happens when accounts time out. -_- I will miss you cantr. And I will miss my characters and those who interacted with them immensely.
Landis Wilder of Zuzi
Raaj Kellan of San D'Oria
Kinscem (I forgot -__-)
Rivers Savor of Sware
I will miss them big time. I will miss you too Cantr. Good bye <3

Re: The Dead Character Thread
It's been enough time.
Rose Noni of Kwor originally. Her life began with her brother Lance. Spawning sighing minutes of each other they struck out on an adventure that put them right in the middle of drama. But many years passed and she grew weaker. Unable to pull herself from her dreams most days until her heart gave out.

Oh look, another glorious morning… makes me SICK!

Even my characters that I played my last go around and have since died, didn't have a lot of interaction with Landis and Raaj, but enough to know that they were two important characters to the Cantr world, maybe not recently if you've been inactive, but at one time!

I'm sure you know there's a gentleman out there who would probably blame himself for not doing better for her. Thankful he'll likely never find out.
