The dead will rise from their graves, and then the game will be locked for hours tomorrow as planned. By the time we all get back in, it will be too late to stop the apocalypse.

So yeah, there are corpses flopping around, punching people, and trying to lockpick buildings with their hands. Cantr working as intended.

Corpse-spawn thieves?

I know a few towns where the un-dead would liven up the place.

They're saying they're locking the game to keep us out, but we know better. What monstrosities is GAB hiding from us?

I'm really happy about this. :D They've just became potentially awesome gift options.

Fixed lamps based on portable items

New lamps based on resources
gas lamp
paper lantern

New fireworks type
sky lantern, with a huge thanks to Swingerzetta for drawing the new icon

It's our intention that most of these lights will have a project similar to the "cosy fire" in the fireplace, where you can enter candles, coal, oil or other fuel types to keep the light lit. This may take some time, so consider this phase A.

One of mine (at least) will definitely be installing one of them...at some point, hopefully not toooo far in the future. And probably some others at a later date.

Sky lanterns are great I want to make a thousand and reenact that scene from Tangled.

Also it occurs to me that yes, my chars with apartments really are just living in dark windowless holes with junk strewn all over the ground like some rodent burrow. Maybe it's a good time to civilize them a little.

Just recently noticed that domesticated animals take up resource spots and I wrote up a post about it in the stickied thread about animals.

Basically I hate animals now. Pointless, useless, in my way...... Doing nothing but adding an additional challenge to a game that already has players randomly slaughtering people in small towns. Way to make the game interesting guys. Glad I have most of my characters in well established places. There might not be too much of a challenge but at least life makes sense in those parts of the world.

Yeah... but it's funny sight to imagine your town being overrun by sheep instead of zombies :P

I'm curious why there's suddenly this urgent need to go around to multiple threads complaining about something that's been in place for 3 RL years now, and has had an overwhelmingly positive response to. Domesticated animals are everywhere and people enjoy them.

Seriously, how is it ruining the game when it's never effected you enough for you to even notice, in all this time? This thread would be filled with other people complaining, if it really was even half a big a problem as you're making it out to be. I really don't get the sudden hate for animals. Did a domesticated sheep touch you inappropriately, or what?
