I think it means that you're getting sick. Your tiredness is drained, I think. Not sure, though.

Usually it is from being around a dead body, though it doesn't effect everyone. That is just from my experience so far.

Believe you'll begin over eating as well?

Yes, it does make you eat more. It should go away after a while, though.

The time it takes to go away depends on the character's age, so young people heal fast, while old ones can stay ill for a long time.

Wow, that's interesting. I never knew that.

And yes I also heard it's from being around dead bodies.

That has been around for like...ever, hasn't it? Or was it disabled and recently enabled?

No, you're right, it's been around for years, but it doesn't happen very often. (Actually it hasn't happened to me even once since I've been back) And it makes sense for new players to be confused by it.

One thing I've noticed is even partially buried bodies can trigger this as well So in the best interest of your characters to finish all those partial burials that they come upon.

Damn. My char is mildly necrophiliac, and she just came upon a crypt full of bodies. Looks like she'll have to decide to hang out with the dead folk or stay healthy.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, unless getting enough food is a problem. As far as I know there are no major or dangeous consequences of the sickness.

Yeah it really just makes you eat more, and gives you the message everyday for a few days. If you really feel like hanging out with the corpses just prepare ahead of time because you eat a lot more. I found it odd the one time that happened to my character she didn't even get more tired which is what I imagined with "feeling faint" Wasn't a big deal though.

Yeah, I thought it would affect tiredness as well - the word choice on that is rather odd. Perhaps a suggestion is in line?

The original introduction of the illness was meant to be a mystery and the cause was not advertised. That could be why the wording is vague. You don't always get the message about feeling faint and don't always eat more. If food is scarce, just have your char store their food out of reach until the sickness passes.
