Sherri's story was indeed a very sad one. But there are notes and a journal, so if her boat is found, there's something. My first character to die also left a journal. I'm not very good about updating them, but I try to have my characters record major events in their lives.

I don't think I'll have the desire or the guts to be more specific within 4 days, so I'll be selfish and have my little closure now without being specific or spoil the events for other players. If it's inadequate, someone please remove it.

It wasn't a surprise, yet I'm feeling some emptiness right now. Seeing go such an awesome role player is hard, you amazed me right from my first English char and I feel fortunate for having intertwined several stories with you. I rarely get too emotional over cantr, but reading those old notes... it brought so many wonderful memories of sleepless nights, of pure amazement and of some wholehearted laughters... I guess I am glad that I had no characters near where one of yours died, because that character will always have a tender spot in my memory, this terrible memory of mine that still remembers verbatim some of that character's words. It was sad seeing your brilliant creations slowly fade away and it's even sadder now that their stories have come to an end. I wish you're having a busy, happy life and I will reserve me the privilege of thinking that maybe one day you'll feel the tingle again and maybe I will be so lucky to witness your genius once more.

You were always one of the very best, during so many years. Such a generous creator, able to make everything engaging, so patient and so consistent, fleshing out your characters in such an unique way... You will be missed something crazy, you already were even before this morning.

I second Nancy's tribute to a lost player today.

I consistently thought this player created the best,
some I didn't like,
some I did not care about,
and one I loved like an annoying little brother who's hair just needed to be ruffled.

I wish you all the best in RL and hope that you just got so busy with good fortune that you no longer had the time for our little game.

Taking my own advice, I've trimmed my account of some "happily ever afters" and gotten down to a much more manageable number.

Living proof that specialized merchants -can- be successful if the product you produce is sufficiently daunting enough to keep people from calculating the production cost themselves. An expert cook and gardener, she made booze (though she'd never, ever call it that) 50% more efficiently than average, undersold Klojt's wine prices, and still made a killing. The Cantr version of a millionaire, she purchased her car outright from Klojt. She worshiped efficiency and profit, realizing later in her life that, at least for someone like her, a coinage system was a necessity to further streamlining her business. She embraced Klojt's coin system, and might have been the first merchant outside Klojt to accept Klojt coin. She was deeply distrustful of men, but, when she found an honorable one, gave them her full respect. Allergic to drama. Towards the end, she took on a business partner, and while Nathor wasn't exactly the shining apprentice she had hoped for, he was dedicated, persistent, and seemed to be a good man and treated his woman well. Before stomach capacity shrunk, she decided to spend some of her fortune on eight kilos of pizza, filling her stomach so she'd never have to worry about eating again. Unfortunately, this eventually led to complications, resulting in her demise.

Named for the first two things he saw when he spawned. He was too dumb to develop any goals or do anything interesting, just basically stood around providing comic relief every few years. However, that wasn't enough to maintain my interest, and with the writing seemingly on the wall for Zaffire (who had been asleep for at least a year when he died), who, besides Nader, was the only person he even paid any attention to (he started ignoring everyone else after the town died off almost completely the second time in his life - he just assumed everyone would die, so why bother to get to know them?) it seemed time to let him go.

My oldest. Tried to kill him off a while back but was IC guilted into keeping him. As soon as his lifelong companion, Anitra, died, it was time for him to go. Almost no one knew him, and he didn't care to know anyone else. Classic case of a character kept alive long past their expiration date.

So, so, so, so sad to read that Dung Meat is dead before Jonas and friends could come home and liven up the place again. :(

I played John Woodward, who for that town went and build a boat by himself and gathered clay for your planters, hemp, magnesium and gold for the town. I came back and all I found was a note saying you two had found my bike and wished to see me soon. But when I got back to town only Nader was there snoozing, I hung around for a while but got disheartened and left, I didn't realise it was still going other than reading a few bits from Hyrle etc.. so I hope I didn't damage it too much. I liked the place him he was a good guy...

There was a period when Zaffire and Dung Meat took a ride around the island that lasted several years, leaving the town nearly abandoned. I guess that's when he came back.

I guess it's been four days now, so here's that removed post of mine. Malon of Basil and Skullcrusher Featherbreath of Amsterdam are dead, along with the other chars of whoever played those two. My chars didn't really know them personally, but I do know this will result in a lot of heartbreak and trouble for those two small towns.

Jack of Kwor died on 4327. I feel sorry for Rebecca (and Litta), but his life was complete and there was nothing left to accomplish. I hope his notes are interesting for posterity.

Rebecca's in mourning, and nobody's touched any of his items or his body yet. RIP Jack.

In other news, RIP Dyan, spawned in Dragonloft. She was plagued by self-harm and internal torment, occasionally falling into the control of what she called 'Augei', when she did all she could to ruin her life. After blacking out and waking on a road, she traveled at a snail's pace across the mountains, unaware of where she was until she arrived in Halwende. She did her best to hold out, and decided to set across the mountains so that she wouldn't wreak harm on the town when she relapsed again, but was talked into staying by the town leader. Within a few days, she snapped and stole all she could get her hands on, attacked several people and slit her wrists in the bowels of some labyrinthian building. She passed out; the town locked her in a cell with instructions to knock after awaking. Eventually, she woke, flipping between personalities several times. However, the town had forgotten her, and she starved to death in the cell, naked in her own dried blood.

Her desperate notes, written, censored, rewritten, and then censored again, will be interesting reading. She left a wealth of gold and diamonds, some stolen in the night before she was locked up, but most mined by her own hands.

I think I may have met Jack.

And wow.. That sounds like a very... interesting... character. Lol.


And I think it has been four days for this. Very, very few knew her... But one of mine passed away. Claire of Fu Island. She became part of the food chain in the great Circle of Life.

Jack was very old, 5'4", dainty body, long gray hair on a ponytail. Wearing a sailor shirt and sometimes a leather longcoat. He was never able to grow facial hair due to low testosterone levels.
