'Writing Music' - Linking to a sound file in notes.

Postby FiziKx » Sun Mar 30, 2014 6:51 pm

Let's say that I wanted to have a character of mine develop a way to write music--he describes the whole staff line system and basic music theory in a note (using the normal system used IRL) and then writes a few pieces of music using this system on the note. Would it be acceptable to link to a MIDI source (from within that note) where the music could be listened to, assuming that I actually wrote it in a program like Finale and uploaded it?

I'm almost positive I made a suggestion for this at least once. It's in the suggestions forum somewhere.

It would definitely be cool if I saw this in game, at least. I've roleplayed as a bard before, and the vague terms that I used to describe the sounds were probably tiresome to read. They were definitely tiresome to write.
But yes. Can we PLEASE do this?
