It was a struggle, and as much as I didn't want to give up, last week I finally did. Thank you to everyone who made this game such an amazing experience. I will be back someday...I hope. I will miss all my characters, and the characters they were involved with. I'm sorry that I wasn't able to keep up the game as much as I wanted, I know my characters were a disappointment over the last months as RL took over. Thank you again...it was a pleasure.

Sam seals was Simon Seals wife... not the one ruby wanted.
They do have a connection though.

A fine end to the whole story. Though my character's part in it ended too soon.
He would be angry to two certain person's if he was there to hear the news about Ruby.

And one of my other characters, if he heard Elora has passed away.
Well, he would not feel the forest he used to live in as so warm and fuzzy place to be anymore.

While a third one of my characters would be overjoyed to hear that Kenneth died. Finally.

I figured I'd take this time to say good-bye to my character's but more importantly give some RP praise to the people that made having these characters so interesting. I have them ordered closely to their age:

Reena Holloway-Sidewinder (of Pok Desert South)
Very unhappy spawning and first couple years of life, then took a wrong turn on a motorcycle and ended up in PDS where she met Lee Holloway. Her life changed after that day traveling many places with Lee and eventually becoming her daughter. Loved being adopted by Lee and spending as much time with her as she could. Also want to acknowledge the RPing of Brad and Kimi.

Reffy/Ren (Reffy was from Naron Forest, changed his name to Ren later when he went to Treefeather Island)
Had trouble fitting in his spawn town of Naron Forest, but made a best friend in Jill, and followed her dream of saving the world from pirates ... till Jill died, and the crew fell apart (Silas, Ruzgar, Gaius, Mya), oh and he blames it on Mya :) . Left Cantr island feeling a great deal of shame, changed his name to Ren and began wandering, but couldn't find a place that he fit in, until he met Pim. He quickly had feelings for her, but unfortunately ran out of time to see if anything would become of it. (Though he didn't fit in, in Naron Forest, I want to thank the many players there for the RP)

Larson Wint (world traveler, but spawned on Cantr)
In the beginning one of my favorites. Most adventurous story line with excitement from the beginning ... bad spawn town, early life with Synthia, and the people of Zuzi (loved Empress Kitty), loss of Synthia, but new beginning with Kylie, amazing few years with Kylie as they adventured together till a horrible ending with the Rau and her clan. Almost lost his life, did lose his fiancee. Then spent the rest of his life traveling the map, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Saw a ton of polish towns, some dutch, some spanish, and found almost a second home when he ended his days in the Turkish controlled lands of Queen Lola. Great story line. Wish I had of kept up his journal, but there was just too much going on all the time, it became too much work. I'm sorry to see his life end because he was my guy ... he was my guy that was letting me see all of the world of Cantr, what a big, beautiful world.

Brason (of Tircqui)
One of my very few characters that loved life from day one. Quickly fell in love with his soul-mate Seraphina, but for the longest time couldn't admit his feelings. Had amazing mentors and friends in Leilani and Lumi. Loved June as everyone else in Cantr world does. He had a problem though, it was his temper. Cost him the town he loved for many years, was extremely happy to return where he ended up marrying the love of his life. Then they went on a honeymoon seeing much of Cantr island.

Drey Low (of Jakara)
*sigh* One of my favorites. Ha, I find myself still getting emotional thinking about what he left behind. Here is a man dedicated to the success of his town, and his fellow citizens, starting with his first crush on Stasia (how sad things turned out for them). Then there was Amanda James who probably played the biggest role in his life from start to finish, as mentor, friend, girlfriend, ending things as friends. Drey had his bestie Malin which made for a lot of ups and downs depending on her mood. He hated his original town leader Bob, and was relieved when he left. Just before this Aya came into the picture. The only woman in his life that never once had a bad thing to say about him. She affected him deeply, and he connected with her on a level that he had not done with anyone else. Her long sleep, and finally awakening changed his life and his realization of how important she was to him, he knew they had to be together. They united not long before his death. I also want to put out some RP praise for 'Sleepy' John, Drey's servant Lavender, and Celadonia. They had smaller roles in his life, but he cared for all of them.

Gracy Greene (trader from Baaak)
Hated her spawn town and moved on coming to rest in Baaak. Thought about leaving town there as it got way too sleepy, but ended up getting the job as town trader. Loved, loved, loved her job as town trader, going all over Treefeather making trades and meeting people. Big hugs to Jaklin, Talia, and Miren, the most important people in her life. Gracy was deeply involved in the "Cassandra Incident" which was fun, but the best parts were meeting all the people along her way, and the friendship she formed with Jaklin.

Stave Stone (of Blerk Hills)
Started of as a quiet worker, most concerned with the cow and sheep he took care of. Then boom, out of no where comes Onyx. Absolutely rocked his life, changed him for the better. She motivated him for much grander life goals, they got their raker built, and were preparing for the radio. Stave lived for Onyx. Without her he would have been the quiet farm boy who was content to milk the cow. Stave needed Onyx to have a much more exciting and meaningful life. What a ball of fire she is. (Thank you player of Onyx)

Surf Kline (a stone knight in the Olip Forest West)
*sigh* Ok, still another character I'm still a little emotional over. First time around playing Cantr (very short stint) I played a character Telmont, who was a prisoner of the Stone Knights. I knew I wanted another character back in that forest, and I was so excited when I had one spawn in an abandoned neighboring forest full of knight literature. I couldn't have made his spawning any better. He was surrounded by only Stone Knight literature, so after reading it all, he began his quest to find the knights. His initial meeting of them was actually kind of scary and he debated whether this was really what he wanted, but then he met Zoey who treated him with so much kindness, he stayed in that forest, eventually becoming an initiate to Truffles, and falling in love with her. Truffles was Surf's life, he patiently waited for the day the would be together, and it finally came. In game the Stone Knights have a terrible reputation, but if you don't have a character in that forest ... you're missing out on some amazing RP! Surf always had a bit of a strained relationship with Adrian which made things interesting. I need to tip my hat to some players that were involved in his life even just for shot stints (Rymke, Kyda, Charlie, Jordan, Daisy, Melody, Salara) that helped enhance his story.

Shell West (of Akypor, but spent more time in Dory and Klojt)
Mostly a quiet character but really enjoyed her first year verbally sparring with Possum. :) Bonded with Jennifer as they made their cart and sloop together, but never really recovered until the very end of her life after Jennifer's death. Worked in Dory and Klojt to finish her sloop and get tools. Finally Morgan Greene and Shell decided to sail together, and after a short ordeal in Pok Harbor with a stolen ship, got a lot of resources they needed to build a raker together, which they were doing upon her death (Sorry Morgan Greene).

Orand Een (of Midgar)
Hmm. Never did I play a more unusual character, than that of Orand. He wasn't my most active character as he was often with a sleepy crew, but when I got to play him ... oh ... could a person have more fun! I wanted to do something completely different for a character so I took my chance with him and it payed off with hours of enjoyment for myself. Huge thanks to the people of Midgar that interacted with him. It still amazes me some of the things he got away with saying. He always had an ally in Alexis James, and to some degree Rivaldi, but I have to thank Lynn, Cree, Kelly (Conan), Stephanie, and Reggie for all the great RP in Midgar while he was there, even a small shout out to "The Pickle", and huge praise to "The Polish". Then he headed of to Scarab Haunt where he met Mallory. Who ever figured Orand would actually get a girlfriend. Thank you player of Mallory for stepping out like that, when you were awake, it was lots of fun. Things for the most part ended in Port Gallagher with the polish community. Of course Orand had a special place in his heart for Scarlett, but loved all the interaction with the polish while there. Another town willing to put up with the Orand. Thank you Polish community.

Hently Slagg (spawned somewhere else, but spent most of his life living in Brunoi Hills West)
Thank you Avery. Enjoyed the RP till you got sleepy, then stomped on his heart and crushed it into little pieces, when you got what you needed. . It was thoroughly enjoyable for the first few years though. He never really recovered. Had a pity part for himself in the first town he went too, then by the next town in was just anger at being used by her. He died searching for a home, that he had no success finding. Shout out to sleepy Tania in BHW. Enjoyed the RP when she was awake.

Wake (of Dragonloft)
Only put this guy in case someone was interested in who he belonged to. Didn't do much with him. Sorry Charly. You're better off now anyway.

Picaton (a french character)
Well, that was my step out into a foreign language. Désolé, ma mère Brig. I was enjoying it, but ... I had to quit the game.

Lastly I'll mention Trift Winthrow my first character this time around. I had him killed off a couple months ago under the watch of his former friend Laila Moreno, he believed she locked him up to die, so after her men put him in NDS, he finished himself off, though she started healing him. He thought it was only to torture him longer, a slower death by self poisoning (I am finding out this may not have been the case). His story was probably the darkest of any of them. A very conflicted soul, never really accepted anywhere but always looking for it. He finally found what he wanted but had screwed things up by the time he realized that it was there. When he tried to make things right, there was no room left for him to do so. In losing his best friend Peyton, and the woman he realized he really loved, he had nothing left to live for and surrendered himself to Laila, who he believed would kill him. Great RP love to the people of Omeo, a town he loved, though hated by its people.

A big thank you to all the people I RPed with over the last RL year. I know the post is a little long, but this is closure for me, and I needed to say thank you to people I RPed with. I love this game, and I'm glad I've got to know some of you outside the game. It's a great player base and I miss it all, already, but RL calls and I need to step up a little more in the places I'm needed. Thanks for the memories. I'd love to hear from any of you if you want to reveal yourself to me. It's been lots of fun.

Note: Had to make an edit to Trift Winthrow's story as I had some misunderstandings in his death, and didn't disclose all the facts.

Geez, I knew 12 of yours and most of them I had some serious storylines with! :) Some of these were surprising to me that they were yours but well done. Sorry to see you go.

I knew at least 8 of those. I don't know if you'd be interested in knowing who I met them with but if you are, you can pm me. Sorry to hear about Ren especially because even though I was in the same town only for a few days, Pim would've deserved a relationship and they seemed like a good match.

Orand was awesome. I enjoyed him as a player and my character liked him a lot more than she let on
